In the above code when i click the button on the form, it doesnt display the message in test(). I have to click two times to display this message. Why this happense and what can i do to fix this? both the classes are inteh same project scopecheers.
I have developed a small application. It has a MDIParent form on which the other childforms are displayed. I have a Panel on the MDIParent on which there are buttons to call up the MDIChild forms. Now my issue is, when anyone of the buttons on the MDIParents form Panel are clicked, it should check if another Childform is display, if it is then it (the active childform is closed) and the new form will be displayed. This part is working fine from the code below. However, when there are no active MDIChild form on the MDIParent form and if the button is clicked, the 'Else' part of my code below is executed. This generates the error as 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object'. So what is wrong with my code below?

I'm creating this program where the user inputs their name in this one textbox, and they click on the button where it should come up with their name in reverse(Last Name, First Name) in a message box. My message box doesn't work. My code does show I'm using the If statement because I'm trying my make sure the user is inputting letters only and nothing else. But I would fix that later thats not my biggest concerns.

I mean when the first form appears, after 3 seconds another one will appear, then after 5 seconds the second will appear. I still have problem when the message box stops, it displays all the forms together. All I want is when the message box stops, then it display the first form then stop to display the second then stop to display the last. The first form must stay for 3 seconds on the screen, then after 3 seconds the second appears then after 5 seconds the last appears.

I have a form and I have added some data in the comboBox's and a textBox, I clicked BookingTableBindingNavigatorSaveItem all the data was saved.

View 4 RepliesFirstly I apologize as my question may seems repeated to you. But I am sure the details will not. I am writing a VBScript in VB.Net to automate some operation in SAP. The script is recorded from SAP. All I need to do is to put this script under a button click event on vb.net. I have done this far. But get stuck at one point. While doing the execution of the script, SAP displays a Message Box with two button labeled "Redetermine" & "Cancel" and I have to Click on "Redetermine" button to make the script run further.
The number of appearance of this message box is not fixed. Some times it appears twice and some times more than twice. My question is "How can I detect the Message Box from my VB.Net application and automatically click on the "Redetermine" button if the message box appears"?

View 3 RepliesIve created a program for work which is very plain and simple, a problem i have been having with it is that the OK button. the OK button deletes a key from registry and copies a pdf to the desktop and also creates a .txt file in a folder and as well closes the program. This seems to work on the machine that i have created it on and also from a Flash drive but when i have the folder and program on another PC every button works apart from the OK button.
View 2 RepliesI am trying to unit test for data being input into a textbox (txtPrice). If it is not numeric, it throws a messagebox stating that the input must be numeric. However, when I unit test, I can't figure out why my test fires the message box twice.THis is my (simple) unit test:

My understanding is that for unit testing, you declare the sender, and (in this case) set the sender to some value that will trip the message box. 112L should do this on the leave event. I then write my expected, which in this case is 112L, fire the event, and then get the actual out of the text box. I then Assert.AreEqual to ensure the expected and actual are the same.
