I have an array of data which is currently updating itself every 10seconds from when my spreadsheet is opened as you can see from the VBA module code given below, that is fine but the charts that I have created manually from the data are not updating themselves as the data changes. When I change the data by editing a number in the range etc. then surely enough the chart updates. Is there any code available which will refresh the chart I have made automatically say every 15 seconds, giving a 5 interval breathing space between the data and chart update?
The code I have attempted to resolve the problem in the Sub AllWorkbookCharts () doesn't work as there is a problem with the refresh part of it.
Sub Update_Time()
Application.OnTime Now() + TimeValue("00:00:10"), "Sort_Table"
Application.OnTime Now() + TimeValue("00:00:15"), "AllWorkbook_Charts"
End Sub
Sub Sort_Table()

Upon another event, we need to refresh the browser window with different parameters for strItem and strOrder.
If I call the same code above, it opens a new tab in the browser window. Is there any way to refresh the same browser window that was previously opened?
I have a combo box and a property grid in a form. The combo box contains 2 items. If one item is selected, two properties are listed in the property grid. These properties should have a dropdown that contains a list of items. I have two string arrays that contain the values for these properties. Can I use one TypeConverter that inherits StringConverter for these lists to be displayed in two different properties? That is, with one TypeConverter class, can I populate both the lists? I will also have to do the same with the other items in the combobox.
I want it so every time I click an ITEM in the Listbox it displays ALL the data into the textbox. I know there's an easy way using table adapters and binding the listbox, but I'd prefer to do it this way for my project.
There is a button called "Data Refresh". Once user clicks it, a few jobs will start:truncate 5 tables in local SQL server, insert data into 5 tables in local server from remote SQL server. It will take about 15 seconds.How to add progress bar with data refresh?

I use Philip's MfRc500.dll for communicating with RFID chips. It contains a function for reading data, which is defined like this:[code]The second parameter in function Mf500PiccRead can returns "16 byte data block", so my long data type is too small. If I use byte() instead of long, then i get ExecutionEngineException Exception.
Can someone just give me direction on how i could scrap this data and then make it submit the information to a form in my admin panel or via MySql. I just need to get title,url,desc, and Category.

I am working with vb.net 2010 SQL express 2008 and ReportViewer. I have created a form that a user can add, edit and delete data which is all stored in an SQL db. I am printing out reports for the user with ReportViewer. The issue I am encountering now is that at runtime if I make any changes and decided to view the changes via a report with ReportViewer, the change will not reflect. I have to close the program and open it up again so that I can view the changes. What do I have to do in order to view the changes view ReportViewer during runtime? This is my code:
I have a ReportViewer showing a report that is bound to a dataset. The dataset gets its data from a Access database backend. I have a separate form that allows the user to add/update/delete data. My problem is when the user makes changes to the data using the data entry form, the report does not reflect those changes. I have to close the entire program and reopen it before the changes take effect on my report.[code]...

I am using Ms-Access 2007 with vb.net. My problem is that I have a table with column name strval which has following values: 2, 3, 43, 5, 6 etc., in each row. Now I want to search for that row which contains e.g 2 in column strval. I use SELECT * FROM tbl where tbl.strval IN( '2' ) but this doesn't work.
I would like to include a text file for easy ediing of data that my app will read and pull data from. My external data file is a csv fileI want to display a checked list box that display this info and based on selections in the checked list box cand in a procedure later call commands based on those selections.
On my Winforms app, I have a primary form with a DataGridView bound to a database Entity datasource.
The grid is set up not to allow inserts. Instead I have a button on my form that kicks of a second dialog where the insert takes place (ie. with friendlier ui than is possible with the DataGridView).
The insert is working fine.. query of the underlying table in db shows that the record has been inserted. However, I can't seem to get the DataGridView on the primary form to see the new data just created by the second dialog.
I have read many Stack Overflow q & a's and tried various solutions to get the DataGridView to refresh to show new data.. but nothing works.
This must be a common situation ?? Can someone suggest some VB.NET code that will work ?
