For the finished project I am supposed to have it output the total sales and commissions for that were calculated before the sentinel value (Eugene) was entered. Here is what I tried and here is where I am lost.

So I'm trying to program a selection structure to display different commission rates per sales entered in a textbox.I need to have the commission total display alone. I have the simple interface done, but I'm having trouble forming the selection structure.
Im trying to figure out how to get the output on this code. I have the txtcommission.txt but is not giving me an output in the commission textbox.

My code works correctly if I do not have the DO WHILE statement, however we are suppose to have it loop. Which it will continue to ask for the salesman's name, code, etc. but when the user enters the name "eugene" the program is suppose to calculate and output the total monthly sales and the total commission dollars. What is happening is that when a user enters "eugene" the program is not recognizing it to do what it is suppose to do(calculate and output the total monthly sales and the total commission dollars) I am stuck and need assistance on how to make it recognize eugene. I am also having trouble with trying to figure out how once eugene is entered to tell the program to add the salespersoncommission and monthly sales of each case to get the totals to output to the user. Can you add the cases?
I am designing and coding a program to calculate commission and pay and I have chosen to use menu items to do the calculations. I have written most of the code but I am seeing a few syntax errors that I do not understand.here is the code...
I need to write a program that uses constants to establish the base pay, the quota, and the commission rate. The Pay menu item calculates and displays the commission and the total pay for that person. However, if there is no commission, do not display the commission amount (do not display a zero-commission amount).
Write a function procedure to calculate the commission. The function must compare sales to the quota. when the sales are equal to or greater than the quota, calculate the commission by multiplying sales by the commission rate. Format the dollar amounts to two decimal places; do not display a dollar sign.
The summary menu item displays a message box that holds total sales, total commission, and total pay for all salesperson. Display the number with two decimal places and dollar signs. the Clear menu item clears the name, sales, and pay for the current employee and then resets the focus.

So the issue is when I push calculate and summary, the total sales comes up, but not the total commission or total pay. Also, the color only changes to blue and that is it. I am not sure how to get the color or the font menu choices to be able to be choosen by the user. Is that possibile?

I need my program to output and input a customer ID and sales amount multiple times. I need it to display both outputs, customer ID and sales amount, on mulltiple lines. It also will need to accumulate the sales amount and then display the total sales. it should look something like that.[code...]
I think that I was supposed to use a messagebox but wrote the program a different way. the form.vb was already locked, but I added two text boxs. Not sure if I did this right because I need to enter multiple sales for one customer ID.[code...]
I'm making an application in school where I have to display the values of domestic, international, and total sales of company "Conway Enterprises." Everything seems to be working except it is not displaying the totalCompany sales as a currency. i am having trouble displaying the values i get from an IList(Of T) and displaying that in a listbox found on another form. I have used a for loop to get the values from the IList, then i can display that in a msgbox. for eg:

best_tour is ot type IList() path keeps the name found in the list everything works fine inside the loop..but it does not populate the lst_output listbox.I have tried using files, but in vain. It just get the values from the list but does not display that on the listbox.If that can help, then listbox is found in a panel on the form2, but taking it out of the panel does not affect anything.

I currently this code on my app that works great to loop through a page and grab the label of an input value of a form and then print the value to a rich text box.I am now trying to revamp the code to give me the ID the value if the label contains a specific name.For instance if the label before the input field contains the word Username then I want the application to output the ID of the input field rather than just everything that has a label.

Just sorting a value and displaying them with original values. Procedure is displaying the sorted values in msgbox but in place of the original values, it displays the original values again.

To pass decimal values to radio buttons so I can calculate an output answer. it is a tip calculator. I am using radio buttons as options to choose what amount to tip, ie. 10, 15, and 20%. I need to figure out how to pass the value to the buttons in code so I can calculate the tip amount.
