When The User Enters The Name "eugene" The Program Is Suppose To Calculate And Output The Total Monthly Sales?

My code works correctly if I do not have the DO WHILE statement, however we are suppose to have it loop. Which it will continue to ask for the salesman's name, code, etc. but when the user enters the name "eugene" the program is suppose to calculate and output the total monthly sales and the total commission dollars. What is happening is that when a user enters "eugene" the program is not recognizing it to do what it is suppose to do(calculate and output the total monthly sales and the total commission dollars) I am stuck and need assistance on how to make it recognize eugene. I am also having trouble with trying to figure out how once eugene is entered to tell the program to add the salespersoncommission and monthly sales of each case to get the totals to output to the user. Can you add the cases?

I need my program to output and input a customer ID and sales amount multiple times. I need it to display both outputs, customer ID and sales amount, on mulltiple lines. It also will need to accumulate the sales amount and then display the total sales. it should look something like that.[code...]
I think that I was supposed to use a messagebox but wrote the program a different way. the form.vb was already locked, but I added two text boxs. Not sure if I did this right because I need to enter multiple sales for one customer ID.[code...]

The pay rates for the project are:
a. Level 1 - $10.00
b. Level 2 - $12.00
c. Level 3 - $14.00
d. Level 4 - $16.00
e. Benefit Deduction Rate - 0.10
f. Overtime Factor - 1.5
For ease of program maintenance, all of the above rates and factors must be stored in module level constants. All references to pay rates in the program must refer to the module level constants.
When the Calculate button is clicked:
a. The value in the Hours text box must be validated to insure that it is numeric value greater than zero.
1. If the value is not valid, a message box must appear as shown below and the user must be offered the option to continue processing or quit the program.
2. If the user chooses to continue processing, the focus must be set to the Hours text box.
3. If the user chooses to quit, the program must close immediately.
b. If the value is valid, the program must calculate and display the total pay in the Total Pay label.
1. The pay rate is determined by which Job Grade radio button is checked.
2. For hours less than or equal to 40, the total pay is the hours times the pay rate.
3. For hours greater than 40, the total pay is 40 hours times the pay rate plus the hours in excess of 40 hours times the pay rate times the Overtime Factor.
4. If the Full Time radio button is selected, the total pay must be reduced by the Benefit Deduction Rate.
5. The value displayed in the Total Pay label must be formatted with a dollar sign and with two decimal
places.
6. The focus must be set to the Hours text box.

I want to create an application that able to calculate the total time the user (i.e. myself) spent on a particular application, for example Firefox. And this application should display warning message if the user spent a lot of time on Firefox (for example 1 hour or more)Reason: I'm a VB.NET developer. During my working hours, my main tool is Visual Studio and I suppose to do coding. I have a login form that I made. The user enters a username in textbox1 and then enters a password in textbox2. The user then hits the submit button (button2) and from there it works beautifully. The problem is, I would also like the user to be able to hit the "enter" key after they fill out the password textbox (textbox2) and have it be like they pressed the submit button. When the user hits enter right now, the form hides.

Well, I have a form called customers. Login form and mainform.
So my clients want to have an option that explains this: If a user enters information in the customer form, then that information has to be confirmed by admins panel.
Get me well. When application program loads with a limited user, I set some buttons hidden so that only admin can see it when they log in. so in that case, users are not capable of inserting anything in the customer form.
But this time they want users to insert information then the information goes to administrators to confirm the information...if admins accepts the information, then information is then goes to customers table in database. If they don't confirm it, then that information will be ignored.
am using vb.net 2008 with sql server database.

I was developing my own project in the university so what i am stack is to have save button which firstly validates what the user enters the form. for instance if the user skips the text fields, i wanted to restrict the user to fill all the form and when he completes, the save must be accomplished.

I am creating a program for which will calculate the time taken for a user to make a number keystrokes. I want to start the timer running from the beginning of the first key stroke and end on the final keystroke. Each keystroke has been linked to a label which will change colour according to whether the key has been pressed. When the keystrokes have been finished I want to save this timespan in a field in a database. To test that the timer is running I have made a messagebox which will show the time taken however it is constantly showing zero and the label for the final keystroke is remaining in the keydown colour.

The company require an application that displays coffee usage information for the managers of CostaB Coffee. Sample data has been provided for last years (2011) monthly usage amounts in kilos and is as follows: 400.5, 450, 475.5, 336.5, 457, 325, 220.5, 276, 300, 320.5, 400.5 and 415.
Requirements: The main form will allow the user to enter and store monthly amounts in an appropriate data structure. It will enable the users to calculate the total usage for the 12 month period and average monthly usage. A further requirement for the application is for the users to be able to display the monthly totals in ascending (smallest to highest) and descending (highest to lowest) order of the monthly usage amounts. Utilise appropriate formatting for input/output and include appropriate error trapping and data validation in the application.

I have a sql SELECT statement in vb.net. I have this line of code to calculate a specific percentage of the Net Total:ROUND(Invoices.NetT*'" + txtOnGoing.Text + "'/100,2) As Commission 'txtOnGoing is a text box which pre populates a certain number e.g '10'... this means 10% of the NetT column..The above code works fine, now I want to add the "Commission" Column and display the Total in a text box. Does anyone know how to do this? I know I can use the SUM operator but because the Commission column isnt a column that actually exists in the table I dont know how I could do this.
