On my form I have a "Combobox1" that pulls a list from an access table. I also have a "DataGridView1" that pulls data from another access table.
I am trying to set the "DataSource" property of the "DataGridView1" after clicking a button, which pulls the "Text" property from the "ComboBox1".
ComboBox1.Text will always equal DataGridView1.DataSource as a text string.
I researched the Get/Set command, but it does not make sense to my specific application. I have read countless articles online for weeks, but I have now taken the next step.
I would like to recreate the behaviour of a button or command button on an user control. I need to layout a group of this user control on a form so user can select only one at a time. When users click on one of this user controls a selection frame is drawn to indicate that it has been selected. The problem I have is clearing the selection frame when other control is clicked on. How do buttons or command buttons do this? If you layout a group of buttons only one is highlighted. I have tried using different events like LostFocus and Leave and nothing seems to work.

That part works fine but when you click the button to make it do anything it will get the variables that it need from the tags on the cells for each song but for some reason the one for the Album just disappears... Even if my code did work, i dont want to reload the page every time.
My program needs to convert the variables users enter in textboxes from metric to imperial and vice versa so the user can switch units at any time during run time and have the values in the textboxes display the correct value. The problem is that for example if the user initially enters all his values in metric when converting I will be displaying the rounded value of the imperial value. If the user initially enters his values in imperial, when converting I will be displaying the rounded value of the metric value.
But the problem occurs when then user switches back to the original units all the values go to 0 because in the coding for my radio button I set the txtboxes to the rounded xxx value. How to code the radiobuttons to detect what unit was initially selected to set the right values. What I tried doing was set a counter on the radio buttons to determine which one has been pressed more often... but there has got to be a better way to do this..

What I need is something like this: Combo box with list of items I click on Item 1 and it gets displayed in the TextBox portion of the Combo Box I click on a Button1 and it starts command associated with Item 1 Then I click on Item 2 and it gets displayed in the TextBox portion of the Combo Box I again click on Button1, but this time it starts a command associated with Item2. and so on... So - one Combo Box with multiples items on list and just one Button launching different commands depending on the item chosen in the Combo Box.
