I'm trying to write a Function that retrieves the number of rows within a particular table on a HTML page. The table doesn't appear to have a name rather has been allocated a class called "messagelist"What I'm trying to do is have the code that will read my email messages in my web mail account andreport to me when its finished. I'm able to log on and access my inbox but are struggling from here on in.

I have several sessions stored at one time, and i want to count a particular one:
i have session.contents("session1") and session.contents("session2")
but i only want to check if there is anything in session2...
I tried this:
If Session.Contents("session2") = "" Then
as in, if theres nothing in it, then do something. But... it says when there is nothing in session2, that theres no object reference, i want to do something like this:
session.contents("session2").count or something

I'm importing data from 1 database to another. I've been requested to strip all HTML content, as its messy and not valid, and just keep the links. I currently use the following VB.NET function to strip all HTML tags from a string of content:

I'm looking for a way of stripping all, but a (anchor) tags from the content. For example if I have the following HTML content:

</td></tr></table>
This will simply become:
Lorem <a href="[URL]">Ipsum</a>
How can I do this?

I have a HTML page that I have created that essentially consists of:

The label text is generated on page load from an SQL query.The above is a very basic and simplified version of what I have on my page.What I'd like to achieve is to be able to e-mail the entirety of the rendered HTML page without having to build the page again in my code-behind to send it.

I am using a string builder to set up an html table row by row so that it can be emailed. I currently gather my information from the database using a data reader and while dataReader.read, I use stringbuilder.Append to add each cell value to the table.The issue is that after about 200 rows, the html breaks and displays a cell value above the table in the email. I have tried changing the cell padding, but this was not successful.

I would like to print an HTML file that I am generating myself, but I want the pages to have the same table header at the start of each page. I think the best options to print an HTML file is the webbrowser control? but this won't give the table header at the start of each page (and I will have to contend with the ugly file://c:empfile.htm at the top of each page etc)

I have a html text file and I am trying to remove any HTML tags in tables, i.e. remove any HTML within THE <TABLE> and </TABLE> tags.
However, what's really weird is that the regex that I use, (?<=<table((?!</table).)*)<(?!/table)[^>]+>, works perfectly in PowerGREP or EditPad Pro, however, when applied in vb.NET (or Expresso) to the VERY SAME text, it does NOT work! I just use a simple replace method: newString = Regex.Replace(oldString, "(?<=<table((?!</table).)*)<(?!/table)[^>]+>", string.Empty, RegexOptions.IgnoreCase)?

I've been using in the last weeks in this computer are VS2010 with a little Excel, GIMP and Chrome, Why all of a sudden many folder of my computer have a file called "OneNote Table Of Contents.onetoc2"?I checked and, yes, I have OneNote installed here, but I never used it, I didn't even know I had it.I searched around, and I only found articles talking about OneNotes configuration, but I never used it, so... did something that I did with Excel or Visual Studio told OneNotes to start creating those files?

It's one to many relatoionship from Countries to People. ountries table column:CountryId,CountryName People:PeopleId,FullName,CountryId (a primary key from Country table and allowed null) I want to count how many people each country has and get something like the following result that shows only the country that has people. Because there are some countries that have no people in the People table.

I'm trying to read the table of contents from a CD and am having problems with the DeviceIOControl function. When I call it with a control code of IOCTL_CDROM_EJECT_MEDIA or IOCTL_CDROM_LOAD_MEDIA it works fine, and opens or closes the CD drawer. But when I call it with a code of IOCTL_CDROM_READ_TOC_EX it gives an error code of 6 (ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE). I'm using the same handle, so I can't see why it's complaining. It's possible that the input data that I'm giving it is wrong, but I don't think that it should give this particular error in that case.
