Update New Data With The Previous Data If The New Data Equal To 0?

I am having an issue on the listbox when the new data value equal to previous data then = to "0". However, I want if the new data value( A ) is equal to the previous data( B ) then ( A ) equal to ( B ).

My problem is when the new data comes out from the API, if it is equal to the previous data and it will appear 0. But what i want is the new data comes out is 0 and it will equal to previous data. e.g: first data comes out is 12.00, in above case, if the second data comes out is 12.00 but it will shows 0 which means unchanged. But in my case now, i want if the first data come out is 12.00, then if the next data is unchanged (0) and it will appear 12.00 and so on.

Data binding should be an extremely simple thing to manage but I can't find a SIMPLE solution to the following problem.
I have two forms
Form1 contains a 4x4 MSFlexGrid (unfortunately an unmanaged COM object but I can merge cells, which I can't do with a managed Datagrid)
Form2 contains other controls which change the data in the Flexgrid.
I connect the two with a Public 4x4 array. Form2 changes the data in this array. I can update the grid data by reading the array. But how do I bind the Grid to the array so that it auto-updates - which is the whole point of binding isn't it?

I have a windows form program that pulls data from a sql server. That same data is being read from a ASP.NET website that sets properties for the site. The SQL server has 3 tables: tblWebPage, tblObjects, tblProperties. and 6 views for the 6 web page: vWebPage01, vWebPage02, vWebPage03..ect. When the program loads you see buttons for each web page on the site. When the user clicks on the Home Page it loads this data: [code]Now, the problem lies in updating vWebPage02, vWebPage03, ect.. I assume with the same data I can copy my form with the code and change the form name and the data set to build and update. So that's just what I did changed the form name where needed and changed "vWebPage01" to "vWebPage02".When I tested the program My "vWebPage01" form it built and updated no problem. when I went to test "vWebPage02" it built the dataset and table adapter fine but it did not update at all.

I am creating a project in VB.NET in which one of the reports require that the name of employees should be displayed as column names and whatever work they have done for a stated period should appear in rows below that particular column.Now as it is clear, the columns will have to be added at runtime. Am using an ODBC Data source to populate the grid. Also since a loop will have to be done to find out the work done by employees individually, so the number of rows under one column might be less or more than the rows in the next column.Is there a way to create an empty data table and then update its contents based on columns and not add data based on addition of new rows.

im added a dataset inside my project, and inside the dataset i added a DataAdapter with the steps like below:Use SQLStatement --> select A,B from tb_example --> Fill a datatable.And then i bind one of my combobox datasource's display member = Avalue member = BAnd its work properly!After few weeks, im reopen the project and i try to add another new dataadapter in the previous dataset and a new combobox like steps i did before. When i come to the combobox and try to find the datasource in combobox's properties and i cant find the dataadapter i jz added.

I have a problem reading data from an RFID-reader. I connect to the reader by tcp and wait for DataAvailable to be true, then reading the data until I got a end of data character. Then I just go back and waiting for a new DataAvailable. This is done in a own thread for the function.
There seems to be some kind of timeout, If I don't got any data in a couple of minutes, then it just sits there in the do/loop waiting for DataAvailable. I hold the card to the RFID reader, it beeps, but there is no data available. I don't get any exeptions, and the information says that the clientsocket is still connected. Are there anything more I can check?
If I put the card to the reader in a minute-interval it seems as this will never occur. So 2-3 minutes idle:ing seems to do this.

I have 2 applications that collect data every 5 minutes and imports that data into a SQL Server 2005 table. Every so often the location that I'm quering to get the data hasn't updated thier values so the application is trying to insert duplicate data into the database table. Because I have Primary Keys set on 2 of the 3 columns the insert fails which of course causes an error in my application.What I am needing to do is if it runs into a duplicate insert wait 1 minute or so and then retry running the download data Sub.Each sub calls the next sub in the process line.

Im working on a HSD 32 bit data bus to serial converter via a microcontroller. Now first I want to make a sort of data sniffer to read the data bus (32Bit) .All on the controller side is working and the stream of bytes are coming in via RS232 as 4 bytes in HEX like FD,A5,45,8B . I already converted the bytes in Dec and ASCII to determine what is passed true the bus and how fast and stuff.. Now that is all correct and working very well if the LSB (least significant bit) of the 32 data bus is Data line 0 and the MSB (most significant bit) is Data line 31 but if that is not the case I need to invert the 32Bits (like as I would invert the connector on the bus) . How do I best do this using the 4 bytes I send from the micro controller.
Example:
(MSB) 01001000 01100101 01101100 01110000 (LSB)
HEX= 48 65 6C 70
DEC= 72,101,108,112
ASCII= H E L P
I need to invert it with a button to:
(MSB) 00001110 00110110 10100110 00010010 (LSB)
HEX= 0E 36 A6 12
DEC= 14,54,166,18
ASCII= (SO) 6 : (DC2)

How do you restore a dataset to the previous state before updating the database with a data adapter? I have a concurrency update problem that I believe to be caused by this. The update fails during the update and a rollback command is issued using a SQLTransaction object. However, now the rowstates of the rows that did not have errors have been changed to unchanged. So this record is no longer availible to be inserted into the database. When I updated the value that could not be null and then test the second update which runs just as the first does then I get a concurrency error. The update code is below:

Now the following code doesn't execute at all. It was previously written and modified according some concerned teachers directions.
