I have a quick question that hopefully someone has worked through before. In the system that I am currently working on, we have rolled our own custom provider for handling web exceptions. One of the things that I like about this provider is that it allows us to add in parameter values of the method that throws the exception. The code looks something like this.

When I deployed my project on a server, in certain circumstances, I get an error page that indicates I should create a custom error page. I was wondering how exactly I would implement this custom error page the server asks for to give me a precise and helpful message or preferably, how I would get the error to just display on the main page?This is the error message I got below

i am writing a simple games client using an XNA 2.0 engine to play games. The games are written in dll files and the client uses the assembly.loadfrom method to read and execute the games accordingly...Now this all works fine on my computer and my laptop. A VB.NET app is working on XP, but not in Win 7. User executes the program and it immediate dies with "Stopped Working". A Report.wer file was created and there's no detailed reason other than "System.InvalidOperationException".

I'm trying to make a rs232 serial data logging program, that accepts a 12 bit hex RFID tagID from an RFID module. My end objective is to save this RFID tagID into a database and assigned to a person for a personnel management system.I had to use button3 to add the value of the variable 'msg' into textbox1 because I was getting the following error "Cross-thread operation not valid: Control 'TextBox1' accessed from a thread other than the thread it was created on". It is a temporary workaround.When I do press button3, I get the incomplete hex number, instead of "4C00A2C82A0C", I get "A2C82A0C", and sometimes I get random digits like 1,A,C etc etc.

So I am hacking together an app which listens to traffic using SharpPcap library, it reconstructs the packets from sessions using the code from TpcRcon.
Listening and reconstructing part work on their own . What I want is on each packet arrival main window gets an event so it can display the packet , and when session is reconstructed display a complete packet (I am interested in HTTP ones) . -That is where it breaks with weird symptoms: for example right now it does not stop on invoking stop listening method - the sharppcap library function hangs there forever waiting on this line of code : m_pcapThreadEvent.WaitOne();//wait for the 'stopped' signal from thread
I also had it not working and crashing in sharppcap function because I had omitted one parameter in form delegate- which makes no sense, because form delegate does not deal with packet capture at all and only reacts on "New Packet" event from my "Listener" class (which is only there to notify main form)
My app starts as module main instancing class "Listener". MainForm has it registered as friend with event and handles even "New Packet"

I have been trying to use reflection to get at all variables I have in classes. I have a bunch of classes and they all use private fields, with public properties to access these private variables.I have used the method Type.getFields() to get to all the public fields, but it doesnt return anything. It seems to completely ignore properties. If I add some test public variables as normal, it picks these up, however I was hoping to keep using the public properties in these classes.
Is there anyway to force the Type.getFields() to pick up on public properties? I see it has some binding flags, and one for getProperty, however it doesnt seem to work.
