I have a web application where I built a wizard, going from panel to panel.Besides using the Next, Previous buttons, one can use the Side Bar to select what panel to go to.The problem is that while the selected Panel's side bar button is Highlighted / Bolded, it is barely discernable to my client.Not only do they want the button highlighted, but they want the (selected) side bar button to change color as well.

I have a form with buttons, and the user can change the colors of the buttons with the color dialog box for fun:
Button_Play.BackColor = ColorDialog.Color
There is a reset button to put the colors to how they were without any special coloring, but I can't get them to go back to how they originally looked.They go to gray in the middle, instead of the nice shaded blue/gray style. I have tried a few different things:
Button_Play.BackColor = Button.DefaultBackColor
Button_Play.BackColor = SystemColors.Control
Button_Play.BackColor = Color.Empty

in other words i want to controll the background of the current cell as well as the current row, and have these colors different from each other as wel as the background from the non current cells.
I am getting confused with the notion of the current row vs the selected row.I have tried messing with the default row style.selectedbackgroungcolor as well as the same for the default cell style, but cant get it to work the way i want.
i can almost get it if i set the selection mode to full row, but then cannot get the current cell to have a different background color.

I've created two forms of which two separate datasets/tableadapters were created by adding a datasource and dragging and dropping the fields onto my form.I was testing the program using a db that was located on my local drive. Well after publishing the app to the users machines, I noticed that the binded information was still being pulled from my local machine and not the database that the user is working off of.I've set the connection modifier properties for both tableadapters to Public, and I have written the following attempting to change the connection strings:

I just tried to fill my dropdown in vb.net and I have the same result. The dropdown is full but when I do a postback I have no selected value Actually on the server side when I put a breakpoint on the dropdown, the item count is 0. I don't understand why... It's like the 8th dropdown list in this project and everything is the same but this one doesn't work.
I don't do any binding on the page load. it's all in the aspx file well it works ONLY when I add autopostback="true" SelectedIndexChanged="dd_ressource_composante_SelectedIndexChanged" for the dropdown.And theres no code in dd_ressource_composante_SelectedIndexChanged It's vb.net for the server side?

I am making a game similar to Final Fantasy (anyone ever heard of it?), and I want there to be gauge like ATB (Active Time Battle), like there were in the later games. The ATB gauge is a gauge that controls when a character can act, whether it be attacking an enemy, or healing. The gauge is only used in battle. So can I change the color of a progress bar's...progress? The green part that's fill(ing)? Because the ForeColor property doesn't change that color.

How can I change font color of a string. I set the fore color properties of the label holding the string but seems that only works when the string is displayed in that label. Is there a way of setting the color of a string itself such that it displays any where with that color by default. I am actually sending this string as email but wanted to format it in a way that it will display differently however it doesn't.
