I need to convert Microsoft Generated Image to VB.Net.I'm using DeveloperFusion tools to convert code to VB how ever some parts don't work properly.These are the parts I'm having trouble with:

How does the Assembly Version get generated in VS/.NET? I know that there is a couple of strings in AssemblyInfo.cs or AssemblyInfo.vb with something like this:[code]But how does the final assembly version get created? How does it get incremented? Where does the last value get stored? We have a custom in-house release environment and I would like to customize the assembly version.
View 4 RepliesI am using Microsoft Script Control, Version 1 on the application and it works fine on 32-Bit OS, but when i upgrade to 64-Bit OS it stops working and the only workaround is to build the application as x86 and the application will work fine on x64 OS but will run under 32 Bit process.
Now I am looking for alternative ActiveX or method to get my application work on native 64 Bit OS.
Is there a quick way of getting this fixed with minimum code change?

All previous versions of my software are affected as well. I have two projects in the solution. Both are written in vb. All versions used to work fine.
View 2 RepliesI have two images on my VB pictureBox one of it is randomly generated on the picBox(to any location) and the other is a normal image that can move around the picBox area using left right up and down buttons. The problem is that when ever the normal picture gets to the random one, it goes under the random picture and the task is to restrict the normal picture from going into the walls of the random one. when it gets to the wall, top, bottom left and right, it should stop moving.

I have a graphics application that uses graphics paths. Code seen below. You can use keyboard characters to display information. When a label is set to visible = false after being turned on for a number of seconds a stray image is generated. The stray images are also sometimes generated when the label is first made visible.

If you want more information let me know.The white arrows points to the stray image that is created just after a label that displayed information was set to visible = false

I have service pack 1 installed in Visual Studio but this error message presists. The articles I have read on this error said to install sp1 as a solution but I have done that and the error persists. I have created a license system for my application with MySql about half a year ago. What it would do is take the serial number and send it to my server if the key was correct it would return a 0 if its wrong the return value would be a 1.The problem was that when the serial number was entered correctly my program would create a "fake file" for example vb.dll in the system.And on run time my program would check for that vb.dll if the file exist it would skip my trial program and run the app as a full version. Half year later i think creating a "fake file" and checking for it on start up is extremely wrong and that's not very good security.How can i check the difference between a full version and unregistered version?

I'm currently doing a project that includes access 2010 My question will be what driver can I use for an access 2010 *.accdb type file? For a *.mdb it works perfectly well with

But, when I changed the mbd to accdb:

I am building a VB 2008 Express Edition application.I have built a database (with a single table) using SQL Server Compact 3.5 and have connected it to the project. I am able to view and edit the data using a DataGridView on a second form (tutorial made this very easy). I need to work with the data in the table within the application. how to easily load the entire table into an array or even read the table a row or cell at a time so that I can make all of the data available for manipulation within the application (the tutorials only seem to show how to display the data).
