VB2008 Hung Up When Trying To Add A New Form To Project

I am using Visual Basic Pro 2008 SP1. I am currently working on a windows application form project and everything was fine until recently when I try to add a new item (does not matter a new form or control), the whole program is frozen up. If I look at the task manager, the "devenv.exe" process memory usage keeps increasing until FatalErrorOutOfMemmory. I can run build, debug without any error. I can publish the project and run the program without any problem too. I have tried to open a new project and I can add a new form or control without any problem. I wonder if there is something in the project causing this problem and where I should start to troubleshoot it.

I have a problem with building a project. When I build a project and when I create .exe file, I cannot run it on other computers.There is an error: "The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000135). Click OK to terminate the application.".ca i have any chance to solve this error without installing framework 3.5

Is there any chance to create a file that will run on the other computers without installing the .NET framework?

For reasons that are beyond my control, I have three Projects. Projects A and B reference project C. Project A references project B so that it can open a large form in project B. I now need to open that large form from project C, but VB won't allow me to add a reference from C to B because that would create a circular dependency. I found a way around it, though. I created a Timer in A, and when I opened C from A, I passed in that timer. When the user performs a certain action, I enable the Timer from A, and this causes C to open B for me.

I'm using visual basic 2008. I am done coding the CRUD... but i want it to have confirmation first. Then, i tried using panel, it works. but, my interface looks not organize. Is it possible to access the values in the text boxes from the other form?
For example: the client's information text box are on the form1 and once add button is click, the confirmation box will pop out. and the pop out box is in the form2. Is it possible to access the form1 text boxes from the form2?

I have two tables in one to many relationship in an access 2003 database.I am using vb6 and visual studio 2008.I want a data entry form (in grid view) for child table. I want to display & add, Update, delete child records accordingly with parent.

This VB.NET rookie is asking for the support of those with expertise. BACKGROUND: Form1 has a Datagrid, Dataset1 create by drag DB into datagrid. Form2 presents the record selected from the datagrid. Within the LOAD_FORM I search the DB with the Key and place data in Dataset2 (DS created manually)
CHALELNGE Record updated in Form2 is saved in DB fine and when Form2 is closed, record updated does not appear in Form1. I have a solution with several projects most of which are code or control libraries. I have a main windows forms application that references and uses these libraries. What i am trying to do is create a 2nd windows application that extends the main one, but i would like to be able to deploy them as separate exe's.
When i try to add a reference to the new app referencing the main app; all seems fine until i try to run the new app i get several error msgs similar to below:
Error 1 Could not find file 'ADODB.dll' referenced by assembly 'D:Visual Studio 2005ProjectsXXXinDebugXXX.exe.manifest'. <newAppName>
i have tried adding references to all the dll's in the error messages and they are still listed when i try to run the new app. I thought of a few work arounds but they require user changes to maintain separate exe's at deployment. I would like to avoid this if possible.

I am using VS 2008 and I have a solution with multiple projects. I would like to know how to open a form in project B from a Form in project A. The solution starts with the form in project A.I have tried the following and it does not produce the expected behaviour:In Form A I have added a reference to the Project B. The following code is in a form in project A. appraisal is a form in project B.
Dim appraisalForm As New appraisalApp.appraisal
appraisalForm.Show()
The above solution works to a degree. As the form is instantiated in Project A, I cannot reference any of the items in the form in Project B as I could if the Form in project B was instatiated through startup.

In one of my forms witch I imported from VB2008 there are all properties saved in the *.resx file. One Property, of the Type System.Windows.Forms.Keys, can contain the Value 'Ctrl+F1' witch compiles fine in VB2008, but not in VB2010. To reproduce, simply add the following to any resx file:
<data name="cmdFenster.ShortcutKeys" type="System.Windows.Forms.Keys, System.Windows.Forms">
<value>Ctrl+F1</value>
</data>
It will compile fine with VB2008, but not with VB2010. Notice: The VB2010 also generates this Code in the resx file

I have a number of projects in a solution and want to be able to access forms in all of the projects from a form in the main project. I thought of doing this to keep each segment of the solution manageble. If something goes seriously wrong in one of the projects it is easier to fix that starting from scratch with the whole solution.I have found numerous suggestions on this topic from "It cannot be done" to suggestions that do not work. The closest that I have come and still does not work is as follows:
