Code For Dynamic Control Events?
May 3, 2011I have never dealt with dynamic control events before. I have a variable number of a controls each created at runtime. However I don't know how to code events for each control as they should do different things. I've looked at WithEvents and AddHandler and know I have to use Sender however not sure how to use /where to put eg. MouseEnter 1 panel when there's several.

Sep 15, 2011I am trying to create a program, where the user click a button and this will add a custom control and then drag and drop them on the form.
What I want to be able to do is add multiple controls (by clicking this button) and for them all to have the same events. So basically they can add as many as they like of this control and then click on it and drag it anywhere.I know in vb6 there was the use of the control index but I am not sure how to do this in Visual Studio 2005?
VS 2005 Linking Up All Parent Events To Child Control
Mar 10, 2010I have a user control and a panel on it in Dock fill format. Now this is exposed for the user to add on the form. Till this point fine. Now the user sees lot of events for the user control, which I want to actually link up with the panel on the usercontrol, because that is where I want things to happen . Is there any solution to link up the events in few lines of code than calling each event separately? I am also looking to expose only few events than all the base control events.

Dec 31, 2010I created a control that has picture box control docked within it. This control allows me to "animate" the image by swapping them out by setting the interval to swap them at. I want to use this control kind of like an animated icon within a application, but because the picture box is docked, the control I created won't respond to the events, MouseHover specifically. Apr 21, 2010Is there any limit to the no. of handles assigned to an routine. Well actually my form form has about 80 controls and when ever the user press the enter key, focus must be to the next control. so can I handle all the 80 keydown events in one routine, or is there an better way.

May 12, 2010I'm relatively new to vb.net. I just created an simple Electronic Raffle web application via Visual Studio 2005. It's working just fine since it just basically returns a random winning entry queried from an SQL Server database. However, to make the raffle draw more "dramatic", I would like display random entries before actually displaying the winner. I tried creating a for-loop which displays random numbers before displaying the winning entry but only the end result (winning entry) is displayed.
I even tried to display an animated gif file then hide it again before displaying the winning entry but only the winning entry is displayed when I click on the "Draw Winning Entry" button.Is there a way to set the sequence of events in a web browser such that the program should display the image first then hide it after 5 seconds then display the winning entry afterwards?

Oct 27, 2009is there a form event that occurs before the load event in a winforms application? I have a winform app that can be run in batch mode and I don't want the form to load at all. Otherwise I could just hide it in the form load event but I figured there's probably a better way.
