Apr 22, 2009I am using a simple encrypt and descrypt for a IP address. The app on the remote server will encrypt the ip address and the client will decrypt it. However, when the client descrypts the IP I only get some of the IP address back. The rest is rubbish.

Aug 21, 2009I am trying to access VB.Net exe on a client system through LAN.Its working fine for server with static IP address.In case I try to access it with server having dynamic IP address, It doesn't provide access(config file containing server name).
In Order to access that exe with dynamic IP I need to specify current IP address of server in config file.
How it's possible to access that with server name as it's not feasible to change IP address in config file on daily basis

1) My idea is establish a connection between PC and Mobile through IP address in first, but my question is 'How to do it' ? izit same like PC to PC by using Winsock open a port to access? i'm using VB.Net 2005 for PC and Net60 for mobile.
2)My mobile phone Nokia 6220 Symbian OS is support GPRS/3G. Since the GPRS/3G can connect to the internet, izit means mobile itself have a IP address and service provider in order to surf the web? So, can i connect my mobile phone to PC through this gateway?

My idea is when I paste (ctrl+v) for example this number : 4111111111111111
it would automatically paste them in textboxes one by one in order!
so txtBox1 will contain : 4111
txtBox2 : 1111
txtBox3 : 1111
txtBox4 : 1111
the automation of inserting credit card's number will ease so much so that user will not work so hard to cut & paste each four digits!so any suggestion of doing auto-fill inside textboxes..?
2)if I am already in txtBox4 and want to delete back with the key "BackSpace/Return" after deleting txtBox4's content and clicking one more time the "RETURN' key it would move to txtBox3 and so on until cursor gets to txtBox1...

and it loads mytable like this:

Let me explain the indices, I have a form with a tab control. In mytable,x is the tab number. Each tab has up to 5 groups which is y. Each group has 17 text boxes, i.Each group also has 17 labels.I started looking at Me.controls, and looking at control properties like tabindex for some way to iterate through the textboxes and mytable to load the textboxes.
so I started with:
for x = 0 to 31
msgbox(group1.control(x).text
next x
and I saw how all my objects are not in sequence as it descending halfway through my label controls, then switched to my textboxes, and then seemingly finished randomly. I am at a total loss without the old index property and what I want to do is something like (forgive my syntax)
Form(0).Tab(x).group(y).textbox(i).text = mytable(x)(y, i)
I was thinking of manually setting the tabindex of all textboxes in group1 to sequential order to try something like:
group1.component.tabindex(i).text = mytable(x)(y, i)
To me this is fun and challenging, but also very frustrating and makes me miss coding in assembly As I can't seem to find any reference to the tree structure of accessing components indirectly, if that makes sense.
VS 2005 Creating A Textbox List Using Textboxes As Input
Aug 19, 2011What I'm trying to do is make a list of members in a read only textbox getting the data from two textboxes (first and last name) and a 'save' button.
I've made a class named 'Deltaker' (Members in english) to store data and a list 'resultater' (eng: results) using the 'Deltaker' class.
I'm trying to get user input from two textboxes 'tbxFornavn' and 'tbxEtternavn' and I use my class' public function 'Navn' to display it in the textbox 'tbxHistory'.
I've got a sub procedure to add the input to the list and clear the textboxes and enable another reset button.
So for the save button click event I run the sub procedure and I've written a for next loop to display the results from the list. The first name I enter is all good, but with the second name entry both the first and the second name gets listed as well as the first name that is already there. I thought about using the .clear function to clear the list after each input, but I also want to incorporate laptimes in the list and display the best time in a lable at the bottom of the form. Maybe also sort the list, so I need the data in the list to stay intact.
