I made web browser which consist address bar that I use it to type addressess in it i.ewhen I type [URL] it opens [URL] but when I go to anther page in google it doesnot show it's link in address bar lix InterntExplorer or other international browsers so how to show any link or any sub page's link in my browser address bar ?

Im using VB2005 express and the app im creating uses the web browser control.Basically I want to know if its possible to make the web browser control connect through a different ip address and port from your default web browser.

The first being that I have a textbox for my address bar and I want it to do a few things, I want it to expand when i set my browser to fullscreen , be able to press enter when typing in it and it will take me to that webpage and for it to show recent history... (i know it seems like a ton of expectations mainly i would like the first 2 the third is not as important) So i dont know how to do any of that...
I also would like to know how to go about making new tabs on demand and not have a bunch of tabs just sitting there...
last question how do i go about making new windows not just for browser windows but, making something like firefoxes options window.. not necisarily to do that but just to make i guess another form pop up...

View 3 RepliesI am using HttpWebRequest for communications. It is possible to get website ip address (dedicated ip) not server ip. When I use Context.Request.ServerVariable("Remote_Addr") it return only server ip. But I need website ip address.
For Example: There are 3 client's website send httpwebrequest to my site. Each have dedicated ip address. My Website Receive that Request and perform some work and then response.

I want to do a similar thing, except i have a vb.net code behind the .aspx file, which shall give me a list of URL's called form the database. When the page is loaded the URL's are displayed on it. what i need my code to do is to pick up these URL's, on the background open a web browser, take a snapshot of it and save it, and display it on the screen. dont recommend IFrames cause I need a snapshot and not an actual running site in the small snapshot.

View 25 RepliesI need to make an address book that doesnt use a database.It suppose to have [code]All information shall be stored in a structure at run time.The application should read and write to a data file.Make sure the application includes previous, next, add, save, and delete buttons.When graded by your instructor, there should be at least five entries in the address book.But the book doesnt show me how to do it and the only online stuff I can find is threw databases and nothing else. I want to run a FTP url in explorer. (Not in IE) What i want is some how when the button clicked the URL should appear in the address bar of the windows explorer.
This is because the ftp I access should be accessed in that way (By typing the url in the address bar of..lets say ..mycomputer window.)
I don't knw whether both do the same thing. But when I do I manually I could access the FTP by typing the URL in address bar in mycomputer(I think it is windows explorer) but not by typing it in the address bar of IE.
