I need to make a program for my school (I`m the principal), that reads the text in the memory address of the program and write it down in a txt. I already have the address numbers. For more information, I use VS 2008.
I was trying to make one code to get the memory address. So, after I succeed this, I'll make the correct program.

Ive basically got 2 problems I need to solve.1) I am trying to determine if a certain process is running on the user's machine at the same time as my program.2) I am also then,if the process is running, trying to edit a specific memory addresses value. I have already found the memory addresses for the program, but how do I tell VB.Net to basically read the current value stored in that memory address, and then write a new value to that address

I know how to read user input using textbox but it only can read character and numbers. Is it possible that I want to read user input equation?
Example:
User type A+B
User put range of A and B.
1.25<A< 3.56

I am using a simple encrypt and descrypt for a IP address. The app on the remote server will encrypt the ip address and the client will decrypt it. However, when the client descrypts the IP I only get some of the IP address back. The rest is rubbish.

I am trying to access VB.Net exe on a client system through LAN.Its working fine for server with static IP address.In case I try to access it with server having dynamic IP address, It doesn't provide access(config file containing server name).
In Order to access that exe with dynamic IP I need to specify current IP address of server in config file.
How it's possible to access that with server name as it's not feasible to change IP address in config file on daily basis
In my VB.Net app, I want to read in a load of addresses from a database and then use word to create address labels on an Avery template L7163 which is then printed to the printer.
However, I have two issues:
1. Before word prints, I'm asked to select the printer etc. not exactly the nice automated application I was looking for.
2. Even though I get a nice printed out doc I was looking for, I also get a nasty looking error at the end which "loops" until I close my app -2147417848: The object invoked has disconnected from its clients. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800010108(RPC_E_DISCONNECTED))

Im trying to make a email client, iv got it all working but im looking to validate the email address field to make sure that its actually an email address so it has a @ sign.Also one other thing is, when the client authenticates with gmail id like to catch the error if its not authenticating properly. way to do the following in VB 2005:
I need to access, but not display, a web page out of a VB 2005 program. The web page would be an aspx page with a query string as part of the url - with the url using values acquired thru the program - e.g. www.mysite.com?arg1=this&arg2=that
So the aspx page would produce an html output with values I need placed in specific elements. I want to read that page from my app and do stuff with the resulting values.
Are there any IP Address filters or masks available in Windows Forms as per following screenshot? A backslash shouldn't be allowed or it should be filtered somehow.
