Im using Visual studio 2005 and I want to push a button which opens either olderbrowserdialog or openfiledialog(which ever works better) and select a picture when I Push Ok the picture I selected becomes the backround image of the form does anybody have idea on how to do this

How can make the background of the picture box become an image too because my coding was to get the pixel from width and height picture box.. When I found the none image property, vb will show the error.. said coordinate(x,y) was null. It can be illustrated like on the picture above.
Sometimes I will used it when:
picture properties - size mode = center image
So the picture will found at center height and width.. and the background will surround it. Sometimes I used it after rotating the picture.. The problem occur when the picture get rotate for 45 degree. I am taking all point corners of the image and rotating it. So the picture will create 4 triangle at the corners..
I am making a game based on "Simon" where the computer creates a sequence and the user then has to then replicate it. To create and show the sequence I am generating random numbers between 1 and 4 then based on what numbers come out I change the image in a picture box to simulate coloured squares lighting up. The problem however that I think I am having is that the loop I made is executing too fast as all I see when I run the program is the last light in the sequence. For example is the sequence generated was 2341 all I see light up is square 1. I have stepped into the program and it goes through everything correctly so the only thing I can think of is that it runs too fast to see? [code]

I made a picture box and imported an image named Title.jpg. Later I made adjustments to the picture and imported it again without deleting the original(mistake). The new one had the name automatically changed to Title1.jpg. So I deleted the original image from resources and renamed Title1.jpg back to Title.jpg.
Now I got two problems. First, only Title.jpg is on the solution explorer, but Title1.jpg(along with Title.jpg) still pops up on the resource list when I click on Image property of the picture box. There's only the name and no picture, and I don't see a delete option. How do I get rid of it? Second, even though I changed the image to the new Title.jpg in the picture box, the old one is displayed when running the app. What's up with that?
I have been reading up on ways to write pixels, and the ways make sense, but i can't seem to do it, i would like to write just a singl pixel at cartesian coordinate (0,0) Do i need to declare the pixel first and then rite it? Or is there an equivilent function to Pset?Below is the vb6 way of doing it. do i need to declare Pset and then use an instance of Pset to do the same thing in .net?

When I import data I start the Excel interfaces and after the whole thing is complete I close and empty the Excel references...But, the Excel program will still be running in the backround.(When I check the Task Manager it shows at least one EXCEL running...)Also, one of my excel-files always prompts for "Do you want to save the changes" option when I import the file into my program. That looks weird though because you can tell that the same picture has been placed a lot of times for each object. Is there a solution to this?
