VS 2008 - 2 DtpDateTimePicker - Not Calculating The Days

I got 2 dtpDateTimePicker1 and dtpDateTimePicker2 with txtStart.Text and txtend.text there showing the ("en-US") "MM . dd. yyyy" and i get the date difference , works fine but i want to use the German ("de-DE") When i chance the format to dtpDateTimePicker2.CustomFormat = "dd / MM / yyyy". its not calculating the days right

Currently I was making a program that will store staff holidays, with a form they can fill out when they take some.The form has Holiday Start and Holiday Finish as 2 Date Fields.Also 7 Check boxes(Monday to Sunday) so they can tick which days they would normally work.The problem i have is then we need to know how many days are being taken, for example.[code]But they have ticked they only work Tuesdays and Thursdays this means they would have only took 2 days holiday.How could i calculate this say if an employee took 1 month?

I am trying to calculate the exact amount of time in Years, Months and Days between 2 date values. I'm getting stuck on the day calculation. I've returned the # of months and it's value is 8.77. The .77 needs to be rounded to 8 which should give me the days. I'm not exactly sure what MATH function to use to do this.

right now i'm getting the no of days by using DateDiff function in vb.net. but i reckon it is not precise. cos it is not validating leapyear.

I need this for 2 different changes.ON one form i got a week calendar, the other a month calendar.Was hoping to add 2 buttons previous & next.To scroll back in time x days, or x days forward.And similar for the months, but instead of days months.Can anybody give me a exaple or a method how to get this to work?Figured it could be done with a loop, but not sure anymore.

I have a date in the future e.g. 13/10/2008 I need to subtract the current date (today is the 28/09/2010) minus 7 days, so thats 21/09/2010 minus 13/10/2008, which would equal erm, 720 something ? But the current date won't always be 28/09/2010, obviously. I need the code for this. EDIT: When i said future I mean past :)

im trying to make a program, basically its a time in time out, i can get the date from my database and its in three columns, the first one is the date work, next is the timein and the other one is the timeout. im trying to convert the timein and timeout into date which are string at first but i having a problem when the timeout is the next day of the actual datework for example one emplyee has datework of 1/1/2009 and he time in at 6:00PM i can convert it to date and it work be datework + " " +timein or 1/1/2009 18:00, but if i add one day to the datework so the time out is correct "1/2/2009 6:00" , it wont work T_T is there a problem in my codes? Let's say I have two date values, date1 and date2. date1 stores the date today, and date2 is the result when I subtract 7 days from the date today. Is there any function in VB that makes me get the exact date of the day after I subtract 7 days from it? (ex: if today is 1/22, the output once I subtract 7 days from the date today would be 1/15)

We have a system were a user chooses a combination of days from a calander. We then insert a values in the databse based on the following [code]So if they picked Monday and Friday we would insert 34, or if they picked Monday,Tuesday and Thursday we would insert 22.Now my question is how do I reverse this easily in code, to find out what days they have picked. So I get fed 22 from the database how do I figure out what combination of days make up that value. The only thing I can think of is creating the mother of all case statements but I know there must be a better way.

I am making a small tool that require some calculation. I am using hashtable to store values that I need to calculate. This tool continuously extract data on specific time interval(30 seconds) from webpage and add those data into the hashtable. Now the problem is I need to store the previous extraction data and when new extraction occurs, I need to deduct the previous data from new data.Here is the process I am currently following:

On first run it shows the result of Data3 = 100 which is currect. But on second run I need to redefine the value of Data2 = Data1 . So I need a result of Data3 = 0 on second run. This may not be the proper way to do this sort of operation. I have also tried using listbox, listview and even textfile to store the Data2 and recall that on second run.

Ok, say I have an application that has a setting called start. and when a button is pressed on the form, it puts a day in there or something, then the button becomes disabled. then when the application is opened 2 days (48 hours) later, the button becomes enabled for use again. How could I do this?

I am trying to make a program that can calculate the percentage of people passing an exam. There are buttons for each letter grade, and working label counters for each time you press a button. Each button looks like this, except replace the letter with the appropriate one.

I have this requirement in my app. I need to define a week, so for example, I have a GameWeek table. it has weekid(PK),description column. Then I have a GameWeekDay table which has an ID,WeekID (fk to above table), GameDate, isValid (bit field). So once I create a week, I need to select valid days for that week. so I will have a checkbox column for a user to click a day. and on saving, I will save the Date and the checkbox value to my GameWeekDay table. What I need is a clever UI design.

I have an application that has 3 list boxes, one selects a workshop, the other a location. the third is to display selected costs.to do the calculation a loop is required. i have written the code but when i calculate the cost the final result to be displayed ends up as being the cost of the last work shop and location * 3,What is supposed to happen is the location is multiplied by the number of days(3 in this case) and added to the workshop cost.the loop is supposed to add all cost from the list box till all have been added.what is happening is the calculation goes to the last entry as stated the multiplys this total by number of days(dbl)?

I'm really new to VB. This is only the 3 app I've created, and I'm stuck.I need to code an app that displays total commission earned on sales at different levels. The commission percentage goes up as sales go up.

I understand the basics of using VB.NET, what I don't understand is what I need to tell the computer to do. I'm supposed to create a subprogram to calculate the greatest common factor and another subprogram to reduce the fraction from the answers retrieved from the first subprogram. My teacher said something about using Mod to calculate it, and also attempted and failed to explain ByVal and ByRef parameters. I don't even know where to begin other than the parameters I have for each, and even those have a high chance of being completely wrong.[code]

I,ve completed a program for a debt solution agency that calculates the amount a client can afford to repay after all his deductions and general life costs, my proplam however is at the end when i have to display all the creditors on a proposal data grid that shows the amount and total months to repay all creditors and calculates the amounts as one of the creditors debt is paid up and that monthly installment is devided between the remaining creditors.
