VS 2008 Adding A Prompt (MessageBox) During Program Exit?

I have a mini form application. What I need is to have a message box asking the user to confirm exist. Yes/No. This should happen if the user click the exit button on the form or the (X) on the title bar.
I have this piece of code attached to the exit button on the form. I'm trying to use an if statement but don't have a clue as to how I can apply it to what I already have.

I'm having a bit of a problem getting my application to close properly. Basically I have one main form from which all other forms open. If a user tries to close that main form, I want to bring up a MessageBox asking if they want to exit the application.However, when I try to do that it asks the question twice. It seems that the Application.Exit() is triggering the FormClosing event again for some reason, but I don't know of another way to exit the application. BTW, the main form isn't the startup form so I can't use the option to close when the startup form closes.

I have a form which checks on load if an host (ip) is available. If not it shows a messagebox and exits the application.
Here is when the problem occurs.
Now the messagebox shows just a short time, then the app exits automatically. But what I would like is, after a user hits the OK button the app exits.
Here is the code I use:

i have 4 text box how can i display a messagebox that will prompt the user if theres any duplicate text on the four Textbox. Main idea: i just want everything that the user typed in each 4 textbox to be unique."i tried coding at the textbox that if the text box is change, that if theres another textbox with the same data i typed a messagebox will prompt. almost does it but, since i added a diaglogresult code that if i click yes the text box with the code will be change to a null object.. but since the other text box are null objects the messagebox will prompt me again..

on the form event: FormClosing I have this code that saves a treeview to xml, when it is saved it displays a message, but when I click the messagebox OK button, the messagebox keeps popping up and won't close that form.Here is the code I use:

I hope you can tell me what is wrong with my code. I have tried this code below, And when the my requirements are met. the messageBox keeps loading, for as long as my requirements are met. (I get hundreds of messageBox's). I am using Visual Basic 2010.
Basicaly when a progressBar1 reaches a percentage I have Stated I what a MessageBox to show a message. and because the message is long would I add vbNewLine where I have Underlined.[code...]

That basically displays a random piece of text from a string of entered texts into a listbox, but when I put a comma and apostrophes next to the last set of apostrophes to add a title to the message box, I get a really long error. how can I avoid this and add a title to my box to make it pretty?

i have a program that when you click a button it randomly gets a random line from the file and adds it to a textbox. Well when i give ppl the program it needs to have the .txt file in the same dir right.
But how would i add the file to the program itself ?
Or Add the contents of the file to the project ? maybe a class or something idk.

Recently I've been working on a huge project, and I've wanted to make a demo version for it. So users don't have to download it without checking the features, etc. Is there anyway to upload it to my website? I have a good amount of website coding experience in HTML and PHP, but not to much with Java and JavaApplets, etc.
Is there anyway I can add my program to my website for people to use? I know it's possible, people have done it before.

I added a banning function to my program, to prevent certain people from using it (obviously). It checks for their IP and hostname, and if either match, display an error inside my error form. When that form closes, close the program. In the project properties, it's set to start shut down when the LAST form closes. This is the form closing code.

I'd like for my application to prompt for user credentials as soon as it starts. The reason for this being that it is an app for our IT Helpdesk that will be run on user's machines, and I need to make sure it is always run with administrator credentials.
Is there a simple way to get the program to prompt for credentials on execution?

I've been working on two projects, one needs to have multiple forms, but when I open one form, it needs to close the sender.
But, when I try it, the program exits! I don't want it, I just want to close the form, not the app.
I tried the 'Form1.Hide()' too, but it doesn't sound good to me. There is other approach?

I've got the following code that just does a WMI connect to a remote machine - I haven't setup any code to query anything yet but when I step through the code I don't get any errors. I get to the last debug.print statement and when I step over it the program exists. Almost like I've called a End. No errors or anything - it just exists. How come it doesn't take me back to the form? IF I comment out " scope.Connect()" then it ends the sub and returns to the form.

I have created a VB.NET program using windows forms. The program runs on a remote PC and displays information on a screen. The computer does not even have a mouse or keyboard connected to it. The program shows the information based on the file that is loaded.I want to be able to change this file remotely to another file that is already on the remote PC. I can't use a graphical remote desktop client as we have very limited bandwidth.So, my idea is to change the file using the command prompt.I'm not sure how to do this. At the moment I have only 1 form and when I click on the red x close button the form closes but the process is still running in task manager.
