VS 2008 Auto Expand Text Box In Panel?

What I'm attempting to do is create a Form with two Panels:
Left - A autosizing panel with a dock fill richtextbox
Right - A constant size panel with buttons and features for editing the text
Effect desired: When scaling the size of the form you cannot scale smaller than the initial size of the form, but when expanding the panel on the right is anchored to top right while the richtextbox in the left panel will scale infinitely in either height or width dimensions.
I am sure this is likely some simple property of the textbox or the panel, but cannot seem to locate it. I have the panel on the right anchored at constant size, but cannot seem to get the panel left to autoscale on dimension change.

I am currently working on a program in VB that is 480,600 and am using a panel with a picturebox inside of it so that I can use scroll bars to view a chart in the picturebox since my form will be so small. Since viewing a large chart is pretty irritating using scroll bars to some, what properties can I enable or disable to get the panel and picturbox to expand also when the Form Maximize button is clicked rather than staying the same size up in the top corner?

I have a picturebox that I am importing an image to. I need it to expand but not expand past my buttons at the bottom of the screen. When I import the image it takes up the whole screen and covers up my buttons.

I have a combo box on a form that is set to certain width. The data the combo varies and can be quite large. Is there a way that the combo box could be expanded to fit the widest data/text when the Combo is selected?It would be quite neat if it pop out of the form when selected! I guess I could create this effect by creating another form that opens when when that object is selected.

I'm using VB.net 2005 to code an application that will be a used as a "digital sign" to report factory production levels and will be displayed on a 55 inch wide screen LCD TV/display. So I am putting my controls in a TableLayoutPanel control so they will expand to use the whole TV screen and can be view from a distance. (I have my FormBorderStyle = None and WindowState = Maximized.) My Form is set to AutoSize = True and AutoSizeMode = GrowOnly. My TableLayoutPanel AutoSize = True, AutoSizeMode = GrowOnly, and Dock = Fill. I'm using Label controls to display the text on the display and they are set to AutoSize = False and Dock = Fill. When I run the app. the Gauge control expands on my 19" monitor like it should, but none of the Label Text expand. How do I get the Labels to enlarge / Fill there area? Is that not possible?

I created a simple usercontrol AutoHidePanel by using toolStrip and a panel, which have to work like Solution Explorer. When the user click's the autohide pin the panel width will slowly minimized up to 3 pixels so that the user can't see that panel. when the mouse moves over to the control, It will appear as before and these functions are working fine.
But I have a prob. with below function. When the mouse leave the control, it should disappear again. so i wrote hide function in to the MouseLeave event of Both controls(Toolstrip and panel) Here the prob. begins, when the cursor moves from Panel to ToolsStrip or ToolStrip to Panel the MouseLeave event minimize the AutoHidePanel Control. I tryed this Hide Function in the MouseLeave event of my control AutoHidePanel but that dosen't even raises the event because the panel is filled in my control.

I have set a scrollable control's autoscroll to true. What do you do when you don't want a scroll to occur? For example, suppose you have a RichTextBox and a button side by side as below:
Notice that "button1" has the focus. If you click on the RichTextBox to give it focus, the scroll bars will scroll until the upper left corner of the RichTextBox is in view.
But what if, for whatever reason, you wanted to keep button1 in view? How would you do that?

Actually, I'm not looking for the way to expand its width.I have a combobox with a given width.It may occur that one row of the data is partially hidden. I'd like to show the whole line by using tooltip or right-click context menu.What do you think? What's the best approach for this scenario? Anyway, I can't find how to 'catch' the row that I'm currently holding on or passing over by mouse.

Ok, So i have googled my ass off looking, I've seen it somewhere were you can make a hyperlink with one line of text so when they click the button it opens that website in there browser and i cant seem to find it, Dose anybody know?.
Next thing, Dose anybody know how to make it so the richtextbox on my page expands when you make the window maximized, I did parent body thing but it covered all the other content on the page :/

I have a list of names, and what im trying to do is write parts of their names into a combobox. If i press the arrow it should show all the names, but each letter i use should narrow the names to those starting with that letter, until i end up with the name im looking for.

I have a program that adds controls on the fly to an auto-scroll panel. When the panel is scrolled (viewing the bottom of the panel for example) and a control is added, it looks like it is added assuming the top left corner of the panel is still at 0,0 when in fact it may be 0,500. I am loading several command buttons into it (one in each grid box). I have the panel set to autoscroll. When TableLayoutPanel is set to AddColumns, all works well. However, I dont want horizontal scroll, I want vertical. When I set TableLayoutPanel to AddRows, a vertical scrollbar will not appear.

I'm using VS2010 Express, and Visual Basic.I'm trying to make a fancy drop down list next to text box. When the user enters some text in the text box, the program will look up values in a database and show them in a list box (to easily select some existing items).The list box is in a panel control, which is initially hidden (and I have other stuff in the panel for other features.)If the query finds some entries in the database, I want to show the list box (and the panel and everything in it) and then move the panel so its top left location aligns with the top right location of the text box.I can get the panel to show (visible = true) but I can't get it to line it up with the top right edge of the text box.I'm using this code to move the panel after I set it visible.
