I have a listbox that gets populated with files paths based on search terms provided by the user. I want the user to be able to select multiple items on the listbox, and then be able to export the files listed to another folder. See the attached image for what I'm talking about.
The problem I'm having is that I don't know how to take the items selected and turn them into a string array. Everything else I can figure out, but this one has me stumped.
How would I take all my listbox Items (can be different every time) and put them in one single string with ControlChars.NewLine between each of the items.
I've looked everywhere on the internet for multiple items drag&drop between listboxes and found only examples showing single item drag. As currently it just deletes the top of all the selected items!
I have a form which is divided into two portions vertically. The first portion contains an listbox in which the user can add names of their family members, and the second portion contains editable fields for details the family members.

It worked perfectly, all ive done to my code since is change the way the listboc is loaded / saved, it now comes from a .txt in My Documents rather than the C drive.
It now only deleted the top value of the group selected int he listbox and not all of them as it did before.

I have a combo box with a list of Coordinator IDs, one Coordinator can run many subjects. On another form I have a list box that contains a list of the subjects, and another list box that has the coordinator that teaches the subject. The positions match up, i.e if there is a match for the co-ordinator ID in the list box at position 3, I want to extract the subject list box at position 3 also. The problem is 1 coordinator can teach more than 1 subject. Basically I want to show the subjects taught by the Coordinator the user selects in the combo box. I am trying to display multiple check items from a listbox into a label seperated by a comma. Everything is working fine but the only problem is that when i check first item in the listbox nothing happens and when i check the second item then the label shows the first item. Then when i click third item the label shows the first and the second item and so on. When i uncheck the item it does the same
My question is why it does not show the items in the label as they are selected.

I am using VB.NET (version 2008). I have two types of items populating in a listbox (checked listbox). For example: lets say one is type "A" and other is "Type B". Their names maybe same so if the user sees those items in listbox then he won;t be able to determine their type until he click on them and checks out its properties. I wanted that I add each item to listbox and colour them so that blue for example means type "A" is there and red means the other. So this way I will be able to know at a glance that how many item of what type is present. I guess it may not be possible to do that in a standard checkedlistbox. I am also using component factory's krypton controls which enhance the gui of an application. But I dunno if I can progress using that.

note ive tried more than string.compare does it have something with return false being at the bottom of the function. becuase ive tried adding an exit function once it returns true, but still I get returned with false to make it even more frustraiting the clipboard results are test/test

I have a listbox where the user can add items to it with the following schema "count, id".I want to take each item from the listbox,use the split function so I can "take" only the "count," part and then add the "count," part of each item into a string.I mean I want something like this:

probs a simple answer but my mind is blank atm. I have this code to move all items from listbox3 to listbox1 but it wont move them unless i select 1, then it moves all items.
How would one code a button so upon cliking it items in listbox would sort either ascending or descending (depends on the button clicked).
