I can not find a similar property in ReportViewer. Is there any way to tell if a document was printed?
I'm trying to determine if a user has printed a report from the ReportViewer control, so I can write the date/time and username to a database table as part of an audit trail.When the user opens a report there is a print button, which calls up a standard print dialog box.However I can't find any way to determine whether the print button has been clicked or not. The reportviewer has a Print event, but this is no good as it's called before the print dialogue is displayed.

I am having trouble loading and displaying my .rdlc report file in my reportviewer. I've been all over the internet and nothing worked.I think it might be because i am using vb.net 2008.
Also I am wondering if there is a click event in Microsoft Reports or in Crystal Reports where I can link certain data in my report to other files in my project, eg. form2.vb
I have the paths of my *.jpg images saved in my database.
I want to load the images into a image field in my report. I cant get this to work.
I'm using Report Viewer(VS 2008) to make a report in VB.net. I add Table with Table Header, Table Detail, and Table Footer. Then insert a Table Group(table1_group1) and add expression =IntRowNumber Nothing-1/10 on that group. I check page breaks at end.
When I load the report its show normal :
page 1 : page header+ table header + table detail(10 list data) + page footer
page 2 : page header+ table header + table detail(5 list data) + table footer + page footer
But when I click Print Layout Icon its show an extra page(page 3):
page 1 : page header+ table header + table detail(10 list data) + page footer
page 2 : page header+ table header + table detail(5 list data) + page footer
page 3 : page header + table footer + page footer ( this is the error)
I also try to print the report and its print 3 page.
Where can I find resources on authoring Reports. Say, I have a VB project and I want to add reports to it, do I have to add a ReportViewer for each report or can I use one ReportViewer for all?

The report also has 1 parameter in it's DataSet.In the code I placed a MsgBox to make sure the code is finding the parameter and returning the parameter name. I am trying to stick the value of 10 into the parameter for playerID 10. Data for this player does exist.
I believe I need to add some more code to make this work but I'm not sure what else to add.

I am trying to display a report in a ReportViewer. I am using the BindingSource component in which I specified my Data Source. I set the Data Source Instance to the BindingSource. Both Data Source and Data Source Instance are visiblein the ReportViewer Tasks.

I added ReportViewer into my toolbox. I opened a new form and dragged the ReportViewer on to the form. I set Dock to Fill Clicked on Create New Report in the Quick Tasks

Searched for a few hours and read a ton of stuff from '06 through '09 and it seems I could not find an answer to this problem... Something about Express not having a report deisgner maybe? I have the SQL Buisiness Intel Studio installed and can design reports in there all day long. I was hoping that I could use this report viewer/designer to access similar if not the same reports in my local application project. I'm in the process of making a barcode printing program for my job. The barcode is printed by printing text using font "WASP 39 LC". I have it automatically determining the correct font size of the text so that it will stretch from the left edge to the right edge, but the barcode isn't very wide (or tall), It's only about a centimeter tall (when printing a 9-digit number).

I've written the app involving the ReportViewer, and I'm using .rdlc reports. I have a range of A4 portrait and landscape reports which print fine when I run the app locally, and print locally, but they don't seem to want to print properly when the app is executed remotely.When I say remotely, its installed on a server which my client accesses using Remote Desktop Connection.As a company policy, we have to have our clients install a universal printer driver on any PC that needs to print anything created on the remote connection, and this works ok for everything except my landscape reports printed from the ReportViewer. Portrait reports are fine. Landscape reports are processed, but the page usually comes out on the local printer with all its text missing. A logo I have on the report prints fine, and if I choose a different printer, I get a slight variation - I get some text, not all, and still get the logo, etc.
As a temporary measure, I've written software to allow my client to print their reports without having to view them, and they're ok (they're converted to an image file, and sent to the printer that way). I've also written code so that they can email the reports to themselves, so this converts the report to PDF, and sends it. In EMF and PDF format,everything looks great! Its printing from the ReportViewer that is the problem

I am trying to protect a Crystal Report from the user modifying it. My idea here is to decrypt the report on startup and then delete the .rpt file when it's finished. That way, if I need to supply the user with a different report, I don't need to send them a new .exe, just a new encrypted file. I did some research and found some code that I tried:

where the PASS should be green and the FAIL should be red. The number of tests is not known at design time, so I can't make N rows of labels and set their properties at run time. If I put all of that text in a single label, is there a way I can turn some of the words green and some of them red?
