I have to capture the values of the left positions of textboxes in a webpage. I have used the code below but don't know why its not working.
For Each Elem As HtmlElement In webBrowser1.Document.GetElementsByTagName("div").Cast(Of HtmlElement).Where(Function(element) element.GetAttribute("style"))
LeftPosition = Elem.GetAttribute("left")
Next
Here is some lines of html code for the texboxes:
<div style=position:absolute;top:100px;left:100px>
First Name:
</div>
I ran into a problem. Wrote the following code snippet:
teksti = teksti.Trim() teksti = Replace(teksti, "<", "& lt;") teksti = Replace(teksti, ">", "& gt;") teksti = Replace(teksti, """", "& quot;") teksti = Replace(teksti, "'", "& #8217;")

After writing this I realized it becomes its own problem. The function is supposed to make information safe for HTML and SQL injection (there are other methods too, parameterized queries, etc but that's beside the point). However what happens, is that it first replaces < with & lt; and then proceeds to replace the newly written string again as every replace string has &, # and ; signs in it.
I thought about using a regex for this, but I couldn't find any decent Visual Basic examples that were simple enough. Edit: I was sure there would be a "smart" easy way to do this, but I guess there are no common methods available after all. The re-arranging the problem cases first is the obvious solution here,As for parametirized queries, checking back I see my English doesn't come out as intended. I meant to say that I'm already using them, that this problem here is specific to prevent all manner of html-injection and possible sql-injection using the same strings elsewhere later.
Every single time that I want to copy and paste the code that's been color coded, I have to sign into MSDN, choose Insert Code Block, and then Paste my VB.NET Code, choose VB.NET, Click Preview, and Copy and Paste it to an HTML Page, I Want that thing that color codes my VB.NET Code, in order for me to share my work online... I don't want to have to keep comming on here and doing all that just to get the HTML Version of my VB.NET Color Coded CODE..Do you understand what I'm asking...? Where can I get software or HTML that will color code my VB.NET so that I can Copy and Paste it to SeaMonkey's Composer page.
I am trying to capture URLs in HTML file which appears like
<a[string]href[space(s) or nothing]=[space(s) or nothing]["][url]["][string]>
I found this code but it does not work well.
Imports System.Text.RegularExpressions Public Class Form1 Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click Dim rx As New Regex("[<]a[s][wW]*[href=](?<word>S*)[sWw]*[>]", _ RegexOptions.Compiled Or RegexOptions.IgnoreCase) Dim text As String = "<a href=http:// name=as>" Dim matches As MatchCollection = rx.Matches(text) For Each m As Match In matches MsgBox(m.Groups("word").Value) Next End Sub End Class
I am trying to read the HTML of a page that contains a non-delayed redirect. The following snippet (C#) will give me the destination/redirected page, not the initial one I need to see:
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click Form2.PictureBox1.Load(bm2)

So I'm trying to take a screen capture of the windows form and display only a certain specified area of that screen capture in a picturebox on a different form. Kind of like this. First, take the screen capture of the form: Then get a specified area of that form through x,y coordinates or something and display it on a picturebox on a separate form.
my question is how can I execute these VBScript codes inside the Windows Form (of course in a button click event). I don't want to execute them by pointing to the VBS file, I want them to be in the EXE file when I compile the form so if I hand out the form to someone else, they cannot modify the scripts.

I am working on a project that requires the use of multiple tabs, but the problem is all my codes/layouts so far has been on a single form. How easy would it be to transfer the existing codes and layouts on a single form to a multi-tabs environment ?
I am trying to build my own website and realized that it would be a big help to also create my own vb program to enable me to embed tags with simple clicks of buttons. I am having trouble getting my vb code to be compatible with html code (I keep getting vb syntax errors).
Here is what I've tried:
<strong>'Inside of a button:Textbox1.text = "<html tag example></html tag example>"</strong>
My problem is, i want to also get div id="2" value at the same time and add it to my listbox, since the Persons ID is in div 1 and the Name of the person is in Div2.
I was thinking i could do another for each loop, and just add the username behind the id i pull.
Question is, how do i add to a value or position in a listbox, after its been filled?

I have a form which has a user control in it added dynamically. How can I change the values in that dynamically generated user control? All my functions are in a module and I will just call them in main form. So in module how can I find that user control and change its values? I tried writing a function in user control form. Like it has 10 txt box and I tried to pass a structure as argument in that user control form but I am unable to do so. when I tried to declare the structure outside function parameter in user control form it works well but not as function parameter..

direction to some methods that can capture the contents of a form so that it can be saved as an image. The catch is, the form may not always be displayed on the screen, so BitBlt doesn't work for this particular scenario.
