Jul 8, 2010I have this code that searches a document for a word. When it's found I want it to print what's on column 3 in the same row as the word it found. Can this be done?

May 23, 2012I have two text files, the first text file has two columns separated by a space (" ") and the second text file only has one column.
The column 1 in text file 1 and text file 2 match albeit in different order, what I'm trying to achieve is for every field in column 1 text file 2 I want to search for column 1 in text file 1 and display the matching column 2 field in column 2 text file 2.

May 5, 2011Alright here's my situation: I have a form. This is a very small form that can be moved with the mouse (formborderstyle=none). The transparencyKey is 0,0,1. The form back color is 0,0,1. There is a label on the form. I drag files to this label(its backcolor is black[0,0,0]). What I want is for the filesize to be checked. I already have the uploading to ftpcode, I just want to know if the file is above my limit I set. (250mb per file)

Dec 25, 2011I have to find a string in a huge text file ( ~ 50MB) and then replace it.Since it's quite huge I tend to open the file and then read line by line, and then replace the necessary line(s) (rather than "readall" the file of course).My question is how to replace the whole line?Let's say I found the line that should be replaced . I know I can create a copy file and copy all lines into there ... but I'd prefer to replace the line in the original file rather than creating a copy instance.

Such as a statement to change AGE to '33' WHERE ID = '3'

Jul 19, 2010I have a datagridview and the user wishes to key some text in a text box and press a find button.The text to be looked for could exist in any columns in the grid (I want to exclude hidden columns).The search is to start at the row the user is currently at. If it gets to the bottom of the grid and still not found the the search would start from the first row of data.
If a match is found then the row with a matching value is to be highlighted.I've looked at using the position and find properties of my binding source but I think this will only let me find on one column and only from the top?Do I need to programmatically loop through the rows in the datagridview and search for the text or may there be a better method?

So what I am trying to achieve is to find the value if the cell even if the order of the columns is changed. Is there a way instead of saying column (0, eRow) I can add (ColumnHeaderName = "NameHere", eRow) or something along those lines.

I also see that I can tell if the revision exists inside a table using "Range.Information(wdWithInTable) " .My question is this:I really need to find out the "ID#'s" that contain a revision on the "SomeText#" column.So for example, if "Some Text 1" was revised, I need to output "ID-1".I am puzzled as to how to implement this logic. Mar 24, 2009I am getting this error in MySQL on search for keywords. The error: Can't find FULLTEXT index matching the column list. My Database Table is a MyISAM and my dataTypes I am searching are Text. Any Ideas why I would get the above error?
