VS 2008 Have A Datagridview Binded With A Bindingsource With All The Options Of Editing,saving,deleting Enabled?

I have a datagridview binded with a bindingsource with all the options of editing,saving,deleting enabled.But i am unable to understand the problem that is why the data from my datagridview is not getting saved.This is the code which I am using

I have this class binded to a DataGridView with a BindingSource, what I'm trying to do is make the _SelectedMethod property a ComboBox in the GridView, and then make the items people are able to select from the ComboBox come from _Dictionary.here is my class which is binded to a DataGridView via a BindingSource.
As i'm learning more and more about developing ive just got my head around creating classes and modules, i started wondering about something to do with configuration of applications where deployment is in a more diverse environment say in a company where different branches dont need access to all parts of a program, so i thought id throw the question out there in a basic sense and get some feedback. so i can go off and do some more reading and learning.
So the scenario in my head is like this.
So we have for arguments sake FrmConfig which is the master configuration form, then we have FrmMain which is the root menu our application general user interfaces with. So here based on what options are checked as enabled in FrmConfig effects what controls (like buttons/menu options) are enabled in FrmMain.
i am working on datagridview vb.net 2005 i am trying to modify the data with datagridview control the problem is the data is virtually modified in datagridview but no Change happened in my sql server 2005 database
I am adding an undo feature for a DataGridView using the Command Design Pattern. To create the EditCommand, I have to know what was the previous value of the cell, so I can re-enter it in case the user hits undo. I'm doing it using the CellBeginEdit and CellEndEdit events. With the CellBeginEdit, I save the value of the cell in a private variable and at the CellEndEdit function, I use the saved value to create the EditCommand. It's working fine, but I wonder if there is a more saner way to do it. Maybe a event that holds together the previous and the new cell value. Bonus points if I could actually prevent the DataGridView from updating itself and let the EditCommand do it.
Using vs2008 9.0.30729.1 SP. Inserting a new record works but editing a record doesn't. Tried databindingsource but no joy as well.

i've tried the enabled propreties to disable editing combobox iteam but it make it gray and it become unreadable.so i changed the combobox style to simple (it looks like a texbox) and i want to know how can i prevent user from changing the content.
iīm having a problem..itīs about having done a form2 for options and making a soft start with editing homepage. i got one textbox, one label and one button. inte the options for the homepage button i typed in

At the moment I have a DataGridView (bindet to a DataTable) and some labels. If DataGridView's event SelectionChanged occurs,the labels should be filled with the information of the selected row -> No problems.But if I sort the DataGridView and click on a row, the informations in the labels are wrong.

in my visual basic 2008 express edition project I have 2 forms (paxreportfrm,paxsearchfrm).I want to give inputs in paxreportfrm and save the record(which is working fine).then in paxsearchfrm i want to search depending on multiple criteria (working ok).when i click on the record which is in gridview in the search form,opens up the paxreportfrm again with all the details of that specific record (working fine). Now i want to update the existing record which has been populated from the gridviw of the paxsearchfrm and also want to have the option to delete the record.I am using the datacontrols(wizard) to make connection with the access2007 database.can someone give me some example of how to do the Edit and delete in the database pls.I already have a save button on the paxreportfrm(if i click on that, after changing the details on existing record, it just saves IT as a new record).so i really need something which will actually save the modifications on the existing record AND ALSO WILL BE ABLE TO DELETE IT FROM THE database. I have tried couple of methods but none of them are working.

This relationship has the properties set to enforce the constraints and cascade the updates and deletes. edit: jmc posted a nice solution to this problem in the code bank just recently but I could not get it to work in 2005, this line, "AddHandler Me.LOTBindingSource.Adapter.RowUpdated, AddressOf parentAdapter_RowUpdated" throws an error. It say "Adapter is not a member of the System.windows.forms.bindingsource.

I populate a datagridview using a bindingsource and dataadapter. So I join 3 tables in the view to get the data i need.
so I have my view as a child table in my dataset. and a table called classes which is the parent table. So when I select a Class(class 1A for example), my datagridview displays the pupils in that class.
Now i need to add another relationship in the dataset. so when I select a day in a monthcalendar, I need to add 5 checkbox columns for each day to my datagridview. Should I add these 5 columns to my datatable? i'm not sure what the best way is.
Then for each day I tick I have to save to my pupil_job_day table. I will save the peoleid,their accountid and the date. please help me

I am using VB.NET 2005 and my problem is to sort binded DataGridView using numeric sorting (but for strings). As i understand problem is the same as in:http:[url].......or in http:[url].......My DataGridView.Datasource = DataTable. I want DataGridView to be able sorting numericaly when Column headers are clicked. This common function must be very easy, but unfortunately it is not :(. How can i get write sorting? I don't find answer in internet.Link1 is without explanable and i think it is for unbinded DataGridView and link2 is for for C+ or C#.

I have a datagridview binded to a list of objects... I have a column named Selected containing a checkbox. When these checkboxes are checked and a button is clicked, I want those particular rows to be removed. I initially set it out to iterate through the grid's rows and RemoveAt(SelectedRowIndex) but of course when it removes an object from the List of objects at the selected row (IE Row 1, 4 and 6), the list indexes change and it fails to work properly when it goes to remove the next row since Row 4 is now row 3 in the list...? What is the best way to do this?
how to code a form that has 2 text and a tick box. When the user selects the options he needs it keeps the options they selected when the form loads next time round once the user has closed it. My first thought was hold the options in a text file but glad to hear any further ideas on that.
I was trying to code a save option for my project, it's a spammer that I have created and I have made it to where people can have their own personal spam message and when they want to use it all they have to do is click a radio button and the text will appear in the text box. Now like I said I want it to save, like they make their own customizable spamming options and then save it so they want have to continue typing in the message because that would defeat the purpose of my project.
