I am working in VB.NET08 I was created Crosstab for table called 'Crosstabtemp' as given below:
Crosstabtemp= CrossTab(tblB, "PersonID", "ContactMedium", "ContactNumber", "Personal_")
I was declared Crosstabtemp as a Datatable in my above code.
I want to use the Crosstabtemp in my further sql query.
I need to join few Db tables with this Crosstabtemp??
Is there any way to query an array of mine in VB.net? I just need something temporary in order to query it for a report but I do not want to make an external database just for something that's going to be temp. I just need to be able to say select * from tempTable etc etc.

With such simple code, the last line in temp.seq is truncated as attached and the size of the file is smaller than temp.fxl. See attached files. What do I need to do on the above code. Is VB.NET failing to write 1024 characters on one line.

I have a table adaptor that pulls from the sql database, when I edit the table adaptor query it makes this specific table adaptor not a part of the dataset. I have added a column to my database which will contain an integer, when I try to add this column to the query this error occurs, i am using the configure area of the table adaptor.

I got stuck with my program and I can't figure it out by myself. I have a problem in getting the total summary of my crosstab. Here's my sample report.As you can see on my report, you will notice that I set the Section Footer (it is not visible here) to Suppress (No Drill Down). Here's my formula

And it works fine. All I want is to get the value of total summary (Sum of @ii) of the crostab and subtract it to the value of #TotalBalance and the result would be the @GrandTotal.
The formula of my @GrandTotal should be #TotalBalance} - {(Sum of @ii)} <-Actual value of this object?+.`

My problem is with the tickets table, I have listed the user that created the ticket, the tech who will solve the ticket and a user that over sees the ticket. All three users reference the users table. So how do I can I query the tickets table and get all three users that reference the same table storing the users?

View 4 RepliesRight now I upload a temp image file, delete the original, and then rename the temp to the original. Is there any way to rename without deleting first? I am doing this in a loop for a webcam program and when I delete the image, it shows a broken image if it is being veiwed right then. I wish I could allow it to overwrite when calling the rename. FYI, I have to upload a temp image first because if I upload the original, it will show as a broken image or partial at timed when being viewed.

Problem: Everytime a report is being run it generates a ('.*tmp', '.*rpt') files typically in a temp folder c:windows emp however we can get rid of the *.tmp files by setting a recycle on the application pool but need a way to get rid of the .rpt files.

[Code] my issue is that now i need two cases, first i need a query that will return the date created and modified of the table and i also need to know if its possible to query a list of table names in the database ordered by date created but that have a certain thing in their names. for example the database contains the following tables: [Code] and what i need the query to return is the tables that contain "Data", settings and employees are for the other functions of the program. so the query should return the 4 data tables in order of date created. but i have no idea how to go about doing that in the query, does anyone know how this is done?

For example there is a "capacity" column and a "country" column. I was looking into parameterizing the FROM clause but cant seem to do it.[code]Depending on the users needs I will hit the 'DriverDb' or the 'MaintDb' or 'DispDb' databases. the SQL string is actually much more complicated than that with references to the db in about 5 places so wanted to simplify it so that i could just replace with a parameter.
