VS 2008 Table Adaptor - Error Occurs When Adding Column To Query

I have a table adaptor that pulls from the sql database, when I edit the table adaptor query it makes this specific table adaptor not a part of the dataset. I have added a column to my database which will contain an integer, when I try to add this column to the query this error occurs, i am using the configure area of the table adaptor.
Error 'AuditProductsTableAdapter' is not a member of 'MemKingClient.MemKingDataSetTableAdapters.TableAdapterManager'.

I have a rather perplexing issue. I am using VB.net and SQL for my project.I have a database, to which the connection works. I also have a data table and data adaptor, both of which I know work.I am trying to update something in the database, yet it isn't working. Assume everything listed is declared correctly. What am I doing wrong?

That last line throws the following exception:
InvalidOperationException was unhandled. update requires a valid UpdateCommand when passed DataRow collection with modified rows.

Rather than running numerous queries in Access I am trying to write a front end for a DB2 database. The Access database is getting to a size that it is causing Access 2007 to have reliability issues and frequent compacting is required. I have created the Dataset, the Table Adaptors, and the Connection String already, but when I put in a bit of code in to fill the Table Adaptors the remote connection I have to work is going crazy (chewed up about 180MB before I realised it was pulling data from work).
Before I started the project I copied the .accdb to my local PC HDD and I pointed the connection string to it, but it still looks like it is trying to pull data from the work network. If it was a small database I wouldnt be concerned but it is pulling major data every time I run it. I have only 2 out of the 4 Table Adaptors running and it didnt fill them even after 10 minutes.
Here is the code I was trying to run... Server name has been substituted for Server for obvious work reasons.
Because the tables are so large I was looking for a way to pull only the columns I need to from the tables, I tried adding .SOFT_ID to the first line of code but the TA spat the dummy message below...
Value of type 'System.Data.DataColumn' cannot be converted to Application_Name.DS_DB2Database.Server_SOFTDataTable'.

I am getting the error "system.argumentException; Column ' test_id2' does not belong to table Table. At System.Data.GetDataColumn( string columnname0 at system.data.datarow.get_item(string columnName).

I have already binded a data source from Access to my visual basic program but need to add a True/False column to two of the tables. I could do this manually in access and re-bind the sources but that would take up too much of my time so I wanted to know if I'm using the proper code to add a column to the data table directly from VB? Looking at that query its easy to spot whats causing the error. Simply, the most inner query only returns 2 columns, while the query right above it is trying to SELECT 3, thus the Unknown Column Error. So why is this happening? What is wrong with my LINQ query?

I have a routine in a custom class that is assigning values to an object based on data from a table row. However, several tables may be used to update these values and only have some of the fields in common. Therefore, I want to check each field value to make sure it exists before I attempt to access it's value to assign to my object. However, I am getting the error "Column x Does Not Belong To Table."

I am using visual studio 2010 to create a form where you can edit,delete, or insert data from an accessdatabase. When I try to run the form in a web browser I get the error "Query input must contain at least one table or query." Using VS-2008, VB and SQL 2005 Developer:
I'm using Queries within the TableAdapter to grab certain data record field validations, most of them are using the Scalar Query to see if a certain condition returns a record or not.
I have one check I need to do that SUMs three fields and have tried it with both a Scalar and Regular Select, both return the results fine, my problem is creating the right syntax in the VB code to check the returned values.
Here's the Query Code in the Adapter (called GetInvoiceSum) and I pass it the cJobNum
SELECT sum(taxable) as taxable, sum(material+labor) AS subtotal, sum(tax) AS tax from ticket where jobnum = @cJobnum Here is the Code in the VB app - it gives me errors on the declaration and I've tried various types DataRow, DataSet, etc....not sure what I'm missing here and am very new at this....

I have written a sketch for Arduino that sends serial data to my VB.Net app. Works great using the included USB port on the board. I need more distance, so I installed a MAX232. This is interesting. I get proper data in TeraTerm for both com ports (the Arduino USB comes up as a com port). I get proper data in my VB app from the Arduino USB (com) port. I get nothing from the MAX232 circuit on the other com port in my VB app. Why would both work in TeraTerm, but only the USB cable on the Arduino, not my MAX232 circuit in my application?

I have the following query that executes when my form loads. It's the rowsource for my combo box. The query is fine and populates the combo perfect, however, when i click into the combo box I cannot click out of it or even close the form. I have tried taking out the line of code that fills the form via table adapter on load and it works fine (opening the form unbound by the main table). Has anyone run into this before? I have another combo box on the form setup the exact same way and this is not happening. I've experimented with different datatypes etc....

I have a VB6 DLL that wraps a call to a 3rd party component. When I call my DLL from VB6, everything works fine, but when I call it from vb.net (2.0 framework targeted - VS2010) I get this error:
AccessViolationException occurred
Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.This error only occurs on Windows 7 (Windows XP clients work fine).I've looked this up and all the articles I found talked about the declaration not being correct.I am not declaring any APIs calls though, the 3rd party component is early bound in my VB6 DLL.I can run the DLL, set a breakpoint,and it goes into my VB6 function, but errors calling a function in the 3rd party component.My VB6 DLL takes 3 string and one 32bit numeric (long in VB6) parameters. The 3rd party's DLL function that I am calling is taking a string (bstrDNSID as string is what Intellisense shows in VB6). This is where it errors.
Update: None of the marshalling has helped, so I tried creating a test sub in my VB6 DLL. I hardcoded all the values within the DLL's test sub. It works fine when called from VB6, but gives the same error as above when running from .NET. Also of interest, when I have the VB6 DLL running from the VB6 IDE, I do not get the error when calling the DLL from .NET.

I've added a COM reference to one of my projects (the DLL resides in C:Program FilesIntwerwovenWorksiteiManage.dll) but when I view the References in my project the path is something like c:usersusernamedocumentsvisual studio 2008project nameobjdebugiManage.dll..I seem unable to edit this path. I can remove the reference and re-add it using the browse button, picking up the correct dll but it keeps showing as the path of the project.The application works on my development machine but as soon as it's deployed to a client machine it complains of the missing DLL. Of course, the DLL is present but the app is looking in the debug folder.
