WEB SOURCE: <input type="text" value="" size="50" tabindex="2" name="subject">In the case above everything was good but how to put the text from textbox3 between '>' and '<'?
<textarea id="message" rows="16" cols="70" tabindex="3" name="text">TEXT HERE
So I should be able to use "getelementbytagname" right? Also, the formId is logmein (log me in)
<form id="logmein"....
This is what I came up with:
Dim webbrowserDocForm As HtmlElementCollection = WebBrowser1.document.GetElementsByTagName("logmein") For Each curElement As HtmlElement In webbrowserDocForm Dim controlValue As String = curElement.GetAttribute("Value").ToString
[code]....
in the next code it's tagname is "input" or "text"? Because I found:
webbrowserDocForm = WebBrowser1.document.GetElementsByTagName("text") For Each curElement As HtmlElement In webbrowserDocForm Dim controlName As String = curElement.GetAttribute("name").ToString
[code]....
It doesn't give me any errors no more, but it doesn't work either.
Was updating a project and all of a sudden the auto-filling of a WebBrowserControl's Dropdownbox stopped working. Here is the HTML of the Input box:
[Code]....
I think it is the "onkeyup" thing that isn't getting fired properly so the dropdown list isn't updating itself... it was working fine before, and now, with no changes, it just stopped working. can someone take a look at my code and see if they spot anything? EDIT: attached an image of the dropdown box in question. as I type, it does the lookup. (using the onkeyup event). I am setting the value of the dropdown to the five digit code at run-time, trying to trigger the onkeyup event to get it to get the full line, but it won't work.
I'm new to this forum and was wondering if somebody could help me out on the visual basic 2008 webbrowser filling iFrames. Here is an example iFrame below
I have been working on this one for a couple of days now. The company I work for wants me to automate a login (coupled with a phone dialer) to a national Satellite retailer. When the call center individual gets a call the ACD system forwards them to a URL and is supposed to log them in. Unfortunately one of the sites heavily uses frames and I cannot programmatically autofill the userid and password and programmatically press the "OK" button on thee website. The website is: [URL]. I have been able to drill down and fill in the userid and password fields, but this has stopped working but I have never been able to Invoke the OK button event.
I am trying to fill in a simple login form and click submit. I am able to copy the information into the username and password fields but cannot seem to get it to click submit within the code.
Here is the html code for the submit button below:
When I press Button1, I want to get some text from my website that is loaded in Webbrowser1, in a textbox. The text is: "Have a nice day". It doesn't have any nametag in it, just in a <p></p> tag. How can I do this without using the name= stuff?
I'm developing an VB.NET application which utilizes a webbrowser control. The browser control needs to navigate to a simple page which prompts the user for their user name and password. However, this prompt is not simply a web form, but it is a completely new dialog window. I need a way to automate filling in the username and password in this dialog by using locally stored credentials, so that there is no interruption in the webbrowser control's navigation. The only information that I have been able find so far that might be useful in solving this problem, involves using windows hooks in the user32.dll to intercept and negotiate with these windows at a low level.
I have been struggling very much trying to figure out how to get my vb program to enter a comment into myspace's comment box...I am trying to get this working cause I am managing some myspace pages for some bands/artists and would like to automate the commenting for new friends. When I automate the filling of a webpage's textbox, I use this kind of
webbrowser1.document.getelementbyid("HTML ID/NAME").setattribute(value, mycomment.text)But this seems to not work with the html elements on myspace's comment textbox...The html code I found for myspace's comment box is this:
<div contenteditable="true" class="smartEdit" data-tip="Post a comment...">Post a comment...</div>
what code to use to get the vb program to fill out the comment box on myspace,
I have a website where the user enters a combinations of login and password to enter.I have some other page where the user has the ability to change the password. I added there 3 textboxs in password mode (actual, new, and confirm). The odd thing is that the first textbox is being filled automatically with the password that i enter on login and that is stored in Firefox. If i do this on IE (where i don't have the password saved) this doesn't happen. Also, this issue completely solves itself if i change the mode on the textboxs.Am i missing something here? I obvisouly don't want the password to be filled automatically which would take away the whole purpose of the textbox.
I have a form with a combobox and a textbox. The combobox is used to select a username and the textbox displays the staff No. I use the following code to populate the combobox.Private Sub DeleteUser_Load(sender As System.Object, e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
I have two forms. On the first I have a datagridview that is filled with records on the form's load event. When the user double clicks on one cell of the selected row (of the datagridview) I want to open the second form and fill the textboxes with the equivalent data (I mean each textbox must be filled with the equivalent value of the selected record).
I have 1 Table Called "Menu" there are some textboxes and a combobox. I want to fill data in the Textbox called "Menu_Rate" on Selection of combobox selected item & coressponding rate of the Menu shoud be displayed in the textbox.
This is my Code con.ConnectionString = "Data Source=localhost;Integrated Security=true;Initial Catalog=Restaurant" cmd.CommandText = "select Menu_Rate from Menu where Menu_Name='" & cbMenu.SelectedItem & "'"
I have a main form "Parent" and another "child" form. When I am filling a textbox in the child form the mouse pointer disappears. Then I hit the tab key to jump to a combobox. At this time when I move the mouse, the pointer doesn't come up until I click the mouse button. This is annoying and the user of my program doesn't like it. How can I keep the mouse pointer always on top. NOte: although the main form has the parent property as true, the other child form are not defined as child forms.
I'm using the following code to fill a DataGridView:
Dim conz As New OleDbConnection("Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=C:BdadosCV_PARTS.accdb;Persist Security Info=False") Dim cmd As New OleDbCommand("SELECT * FROM PECAS_IN WHERE Data >= ?", conz) Dim da As New OleDb.OleDbDataAdapter(cmd)
[code]....
The field 'Data' has the format "dd-Mmm-yy" on the Access database. The code allways fails with a type mismatch in the criteria expression.I already tried
Basically i have one TabControl with a form and 2 browsers within one form I have ProBlem To call the dynamic browser to navigate with dynamic Textbox.text
I am having difficulty trying to fill two different comboboxes (cbo) with data from a database. More accurately, the 1st cbo gets filled correctly, but when I attempt to do something similar with the second, I'm getting an error about not being able to use the & Operator in my SQL string (Operator is not defined for string and DataRowView types). So evidently the SelectValue from my combobox isn't acting the way I expect.
The overall goal of what I am attempting to do is to fill two cbo's, one with a list of contracts and a second as a list of parts given the selected contract from the first cbo. There are 3 tables in the database that I am drawing the data from: the "contract" table, the "parts" table, and a bridge table called "partList" that has foreign keys pointing to the two other tables. The first cbo is a basic query to the "contract" table using "ContractName" as the display member and "idContract" as the value member. The 2nd cbo I would like to display the name of the part from the "parts" table but use the id of the part from the "partsList" table, and to further filter this list based on what contract was selected.
I am writing the code in VB.Net from VS 2010, storing the data in a MySQL DB, and using a DBFactory to create all the components from ".GetFactory(MySql.Data.MySqlClient)"Below is the code that has the two places I am attempting to fill the two cbo's. Also if there is a better way to handle this, please let me know.
I finally got this code to work: vb Dim path As String = OpenFileDialog1.FileName Dim myDataset As New DataSet() Dim strConn = New OleDbConnection("Provider=Microsoft.ACE.Oledb.12.0;Data Source=" & path & ";Extended Properties=""Excel 12.0;HDR=YES;IMEX=1""") Dim myData As New OleDb.OleDbDataAdapter("SELECT * FROM [Sheet1$]", strConn) myData.Fill(myDataset) DataGridView1.DataSource = myDataset.Tables(0).DefaultView
Now that I figured that out I was going to try and place the data in a specific location. On my application I have a datagridview set up with 4 columns. What I would like to do is put column A of the excel file under the 1st column of the datagridview and column C of the Excel File in the second column of the datagridview.
Obviously this doesnt work, and something tells me I might need a for loop to import the data, but I have never imported information from an Excel file before and to make it worse I have never worked with datagridviews before so I have no idea how to go about this.
I would like to do something like this if I could: vb For x = 1 To xldoc.rows.length - 1 DataGridView1.Item(0, x).Value = CType(xlDoc.Cells(0, x + 1), Excel.Range).Text Next
I'm trying to fill a ComboBox with values from a column in a database...I'm trying to use code I found in jmcilhinney's CodeBank post at url. credits to him since it's basically 100% his code in my image below.I've tried 4 methods before this, and I've been receiving the same error, so it must be my fault... the image below shows the code and the problem.
I am making my first windows forms application in VS2010 and I am having trouble with arrays. I have code that dim's an array 'TabSiteInfo(2,20)' as a string. Then, I have a Loop that adds records to the array. The problem is that my array is not filling values from the loop. I know VS2010 handles arrays differently, but I have this same code working fine for me in VS2008 ASP.NET application. Below is a sample of the code.
I want to make a webbrowser, but only have it show one specific thing and not the whole page. The thing I want it to show and only show is in about the middle. How would I frame the page, and put it on the webbrowser?
