Filling Textbox On Combobox Selected Index Changed?

I have 1 Table Called "Menu" there are some textboxes and a combobox. I want to fill data in the Textbox called "Menu_Rate" on Selection of combobox selected item & coressponding rate of the Menu shoud be displayed in the textbox.
This is my Code

I execute some code for current on binding source when selectedIndexChanged.Problem is it throws an error when its executed on closing the form. I can wrap in a try catch... but what would the proper way to handle this be?

I have a datagridview(dgv) with a DataGridViewComboBoxColumn(colLocation)
colLocation.AutoComplete = False
colLocation.HeaderText = "Stored to"
colLocation.DataSource = DB.getLocation()

I added the colLocation to dgv."descirption" contains Unicode characters. I can see the comboBox correctly and choose the item.The problem is when the comboBox lost the focus, the value is changed to first item of the comboBox.
Updated:I found out that the ComboBox doesn't change the data when the DisplayMember is in English characters. It changes only when the DisplayMember is in Unicode chracter.

I have two forms. On the first I have a datagridview that is filled with records on the form's load event. When the user double clicks on one cell of the selected row (of the datagridview) I want to open the second form and fill the textboxes with the equivalent data (I mean each textbox must be filled with the equivalent value of the selected record).

im having a problem regard combobox selected index.the combobox wont change its index when i type a text that is the same with one of the items and pressing tab. when i check its selected index its -1. ill give an example to make it simple..combobox items = AB, AC, AD i entered "AB" by simply typing it not by selecting in the dropdown.its index is -1, how can i make the index the same with the items in the drop down?

when the user clicks on the add button another form launches, which enables the user to add student info such as name, address, course, start date and end date, this information is then written to class when the ok button on that form is clicked, and then displays the data on the initial form in data grid. the user can add multiple entries and they are all displayed on the intial form and a the data grid is populatedwhen any of the rows in the displayed grid is selected, and the update button is clicked then the same form launches as the previous one and but this time its in the update mode and pre populates the form with the inital values.

Later in my code, I need to do a certain event depending on what is selected. To do this I thought about comparing what the index of the selected combo box item is, because integer comparison is faster than strings, right?

I can't seem to set the selected index or selected value of a DataGridView combobox when loading data from a database. My DGV has two combobox columns which are bound to datatables. The DGV itself is not bound initially. After adding a row, I select a value from each combobox which then populates the rest of the cells in the row. I'm using the EditingControlShowing event to add an eventhandler to catch the SelectedIndexChange of the combo boxes. This all works as needed. My issue comes when populating the DGV with saved data, I need to add the rows and set the selected index and/or selected value of each combo box. I've searched through various forums and articles for the last week with no luck.
I'm using VS2008 sp1, .NET 3.5 sp1 and SQL 2005 sp2 Express.

Let me try to describe my problems in the simplest way: I have combobox1 and combobox2. I hope to achieve two things: Combox1 is bound to list1 (a list of string). When a user selects an item in list1, list2 (a list of string) will be obtained from database and combobox is bound to list2.If user specifies text1 in combobox1 and text2 in combobox2, then these two values will be shown in the comboboxes regardless of the bound lists.

So the results of above code is that goal 1 is achieved, but goal 2 is never achieved. combobox1.selected index is always 0 and combobox2.selected index is always 0 too.

I am working on WPF application. I have a window which has "Combobox" and "Textboxes". Well,I want to display the selected combobox values in textbox. (Combo Box displays the concatenated string firstname+lastname+initials).But I have two text box for firstname & second name. I want to display only "firstname" in first text box and "last name" in second text box.I wrote the below code. IT displays the values but concatenated. What I am trying to do is fill an array from the largest index to the smallest index -- with the desired effect of reversing the values in the array. I have been looking at doing it with 2 for...next loops and I thought I had it, but I don't. As the reversed array is empty at the end of the 2 for...next loops here is code that I have been playing around with.

I have cascading comboboxes and when I choose the value for the first one everything is fine. But when I try to choose the value for the second combo the value of the first disappears. However, the second combobox is populated with the appropriate values and then I have to choose again the value for the first one. This is the code:

I have datagridview with XSD as the binding source (i configured it with the smart tags). After build, the dgv change its columnIndex which surely result error of my code.
For example
columnIndex(0) = idEmployee (dataGridViewTextBoxColumn)
columnIndex(1) = name (dataGridViewTextBoxColumn)
columnIndex(2) = status (dataGridViewCheckBoxColumn)
suddenly, the columnIndex(2) moved into columnIndex(0)
