VS 2010 Perform Calculation After User Input On DataGridView?

I have DataTable, and is bound to DataGridView. So, when the user inputs some values in 4 columns, it would calculate the sum and put it in the last 2nd last column.
Here's the code that I'm experimenting:

I need some help with the input validation of my application. Attached is the code that I have written as well as a screenshot of the front end. I specifically need input validation to verify that the user selected input for cbLengthOfStay is a number between 1-10 as well as input validation to verify the user input for txtMedication, txtSurgicalCharges, txtLabFees and txtRehabilitation is a positive numerical number. Probably I am asking something stupid. I have a datagridview in which I would like to be able to let the user change values of multiple columns by entering values (input 55.0) or additions(input +1.2)/decreases(input -1.2).How can I check what the exact input of the user is ?
At the moment I only use the input value (so for exampel 55.0) for which I use the DataGridView1.CurrentCell.Value which I put in all selected cells, but I would like to receive the exact user input (so eg '+1.2')

I am attempting to set up a datagridview that is dynamic based on user input. The user input is a start and end date. The start date defines the first column the next column is the next date... until the end date (x-axis). The y-axis is technicians and the fields will show the assignment for the technician on that date.
All the advise I am seeing on datagridviews is to create a property methods to provide the information for each column. for example:

How do I create a object data source that allows me to populate the data grid? I want the column headers to be included as a string in row 0 of the multidimensional array. The amount of columns will be dynamic with a minimum of 1 and maximum viewing of 100 days based on what dates are selected in the start date and end date fields.The input dates will be used to generate a query to a database that will populate the multidimensional array.One solution I see is pick a start date and have a set number of dates and code for set number of columns (100) in a row and then set the names of the columns dynamically...ahhhh code repetition!
I am not sure how else to do this but looking for a more suttle way.I am using this to create a simple scheduling tool to see resource schedules by date. There is an unmoveable end date so initially I will need to look ahead 100 days but as the end date gets closer, I will have fewer and fewer dates. So eventually the end date will be that start date.

I'm trying to do a calculation where-in the output is different depending on what the input is. im calculating fare amount from 2 masktextbox mtxA and mtxB, i use the format 0000.00 ,, i was able to convert all prompt char values from mtxA and turned them into really zero but however it doesnt do the same on mtxb, though ive used similar code.. so my flow should be: whatever i values i put on mtxA.. on its textchange,its current value should be also put to mtxB plus an additional of 200.00
as an example : if i put on mtxA = 0030.00
mtxB = 0230.00 should be the display
but what is shows on me is mtxB = 2300.00 and also if i save it on the database .00 is not added,.....im tired fixing this so i try to use textbox instead of maskdtextbox, what i did is put lots of conditions and function on keypress to have the same format 0000.00 but i failed because everything on my code mess up whenever the user tried to edit the text according to textbox current position..check textbox.text current length from 0 to before the cursor location...but i dont know what code i should use to get the length..

Ok, as you can see I am totaly new with Visual Basic. I have learned all those loops, if&else statements, byval, byref and etc. But now, I want to create this kind of application. I have 3 textboxes. One will contain URL, second username, and last password. There is a listbox also and a button. I want when user add a values inside textboxes , that values go to listbox as one variable and then save those settings for user so when he start up application again there are saved variables inside listbox. I just dont know how to do that.

How do I prompt the user to input elements in a two dimensional array? And how do I then save the output?I've figured out how write and print a program where the program provides the elements (see short version below), but I can't work out how to get the user to input the elements instead.

I've worked out how to display charts in VB 2010 Express, but now I'm needing the user to input data into a spreadsheet/table that will be used within the program. I know that table is no longer available and neither is the OWC11 set. Is my remaining option then to use DataGridView? I know it is SQL based and I don't have much experience there yet, but I didn't want to commit to it if there is another method that would work just as well. The values that are put in by the user does not need to be preserved.

I have a datagridview that is binded to an database file. I also have a group of textboxes that are also binded to the same database. I wanted the user to add new inputs from the textbox to the datagridview. I tried using the code
Me.tableBindingSource.Addnew But instead of adding the new inputs into another row and column. It edits the input that is on the datagridview that is currently on focus before I can add new inputs.

I had an Excel spreadsheet which I put in MS Access (database). I then took that database and used that as a source in VB to create a GUI for. In VB I have an input text box to search and pull of different fields. I created some queries for searches in from the text box. I have have a dataset view of the data which has the binding navigator (add, insert, save).
The problem I have is that when I hit the '+' for add to add information and then click the 'save' button in the binding Navigator, the information I put in does not save. I check this by exit out of the program run (debug to open the app) and then open it back up to search and/or check for the new information I put in. My overall goal is to create to publish the final code and use an a standalone program.
Also, as another option,(I would like to learn) Is there a way to map VB directly to an Excel file to have the user input information and save to the excel file.

I have a little situation and i am not sure of the best way to do it.
- My program lets the user select a folder
- From that folder i need to select all .png files
- One by one i need to load them into a picture box, await a button press and then go to the next image.

If my Category and Forum selection is incorrect I am sorry and feel free to move it. I'd like to have the users input in the message box that will show. For example: There is a textbox and the user puts in their name as Bob. I cannot figure out how to incorporate the number of days into the input box then get it to loop and count the number of times the User inputs in the number of days. Then I have to incorporate it into the equation to get the total distance D = MPH * Hours. What I have right now wil not count up the number of days and locks up after I input one number and will not add anything to the listbox. Because I also have to make sure that they cant add nonnumaric values and the number of hours per day cannot exceed 20. I have put things in and taken them out but it has been 2 days and I am lost now

i'm using a datagridview to display the records which are filled in my dataset. however i need to perform paging to display only selected numer of records (e.g: display only 10 records per page) and by using the buttons (like: FirstPage, NextPage, PreviousPage, Last Page) allow users to nevigate through the records. and possibily display the total number of records in my dataset (e.g: |< last <Next 10/100 previous> first >| ) this might sound very simple but i'm new in .net and so far whatever source code i found in google is moslty written in C# which i don't know.

I have built a webcrawler where I use a webbrowser control for a user to enter a url and perform a search. Once the page is uploaded, my app grabs the HTMl and then with a button click convert it into plain text by using html agility pack (HAP). Finally by clicking a button I store the result inside a sql server database.

I have a button on a datagridview (dgproducts)that when clicked, sends the data from that row to another datagridview called (DgSelectedProducts) in a Keypress. The button on dgproducts is unbound and is (0) and is named AddProductsButton in the collection. I am using a barcode scanner into txtboxsearchbarcodeID so that when the user enters the barcode to the textbox it finds the barcode in the dgproducts it filters down to that item.
When I say filter I mean all the items that do not match are not shown on the dgproducts datagridview. Only a single item can match. That part works ok. The problem that I am having is that I do not know how to perform a click on the cell(0) ie addproductsbutton so that the item is passed from the dgproducts to the dgselectedproducts when the item is scanned. This is for a POS form so it needs to do this.

I have a datagridview comboboxcolumn populated with jobs. these jobs have a wage attached to them. for example job "Policeman" has a wage of R20.I have 5 checkboxcolumns for each day of the week as well. so if I check 3 of the checkboxes and have the job "Policeman" selected, I must then calculate the weekly wage (3*20=60) and display the wage in the weekly wage column. which event is best to handle this.
