now I select the 3 lines and press a button. The output should be (for example):

VS 2010 - Rich Text Box - Getting User Text In The Text Changed Event
Jan 20, 2011I'm Making a Simple syntax highlighter and I'm Doing the highlighting in the text Changed event of a RTB and for obvious reasons I can't re highlight the whole document each time someone presses a key so i highlight one line each time the text changes. But this creates a Problem. If someone pastes code into the RichTextBox It only highlights the last Line. So is there a way to get if the user typed the text in with his keyboard or pasted it from the clipboard in the text Changed event?

Asp.net Telerik Text Selection
Mar 23, 2012I have a telerik radgrid, like shown underneath [code]When I click one of the rows, it will display the password of the clicked row, like so:[code]That works fine. I am proceeding this way because the decryption of the password is a rather complicated and long process, so decrypting one password at a time is less time consuming, especially when the user doesn't need all the passwords.When I have the password displayed, I'd like to be able to select the password in the grid to copy it. Unfortunately, the radgrid will fire the "RowClick" item command once more, and the row gets de-selected. Therefore, I cannot copy the passwords. My question is: Is there a way to cancel the itemcommand of a radgrid under certain circumstances? I'd like to be able to disable the itemcommand event when the password is already decrypted.[code]

My goal is to just select the 2nd one, the <span> tag and am not sure why <p> tag is also being selected. If it selects <p>, but why wouldn't it also select the <strong> or <a>, and why not the <table> or <td> that contain the <p>?
Textbox: Place The Cursor At The Beginning Of A Text Selection
Sep 30, 2011I have a text box with some text inside it;
the text is long (say 100 chars);
the textbox can display about 20 chars.
The following code:
tbxTest.SelectionStart = 5
tbxTest.SelectionLength = 60
selects a part of the text and sets the cursor (blinking beam) at the and of the selection, in this case the first caracters of the selected text is out of the user sight because the textbox is too small to display the entire selection.
Is it possible to force the cursor to be at the beginning of the selection so the first part of the text is visible? (as if I had selected my text with the mouse dragging from the end back towards the beginning)
VS 2008 - Text Selection - WYSIWYG Blog Editor ?
Sep 5, 2011I'm working on a WYSIWYG Blog Editor, I'm having an issue with my text selection. I've added a couple of graphics to illustrate. My code is selecting the text and putting it back into the textbox, but it's adding extra text. I can't quite figure out how to get it to select the intended text and manipulate it correctly (make it Bold or Italic and so on,) and then show the text in the two windows (one is the Textbox and the other is a webtext box) correctly.
Below is my code and my 2 graphics.

Every thing works up to the point when I try to manipulate the text, it then puts more text in. I have been trying to find info on how to clear the text box and then re-insert the text with the text formatting. Side note in my graphics is a small graphic that is just there as a marker for me, it has no affect on the actual program.

Sep 6, 2010I'm trying to create a small program, which I think will be helpful to others(in here). My aim is to convert the English text shown in screen to Malayalam. English-to-Malayalam conversion is not a problem. But the problem is, how to extract the text from the screen. In most of the converter/translator, the text needs to be copied or written down in the translator tool. But my program will cut off that part. That is, simply move the program window (having a rectangle hollow portion) to the English word that needs to be converted. And upon pressing a button (or autodetect), the English word is converted to Malayalam.
So, my question is how to extract the English text(or words) from the screen (which is seen through the hollow portion of the window.

Apr 25, 2012im trying to make a program in which if the textbox text and the listbox text are the same order, which they are in the picture, a bluie fonted text saying well done appears. However only the red text appears which is only meant to come when the order of the text in both listbox and textbox isnt the same.

The first line is the song's title and group name. The second is the songs genre. The third line is the songs length, 4.25 is 4 minutes and 25 seconds.upon clicking a button, I need to display a playlist from this .txt file based on the number of minutes the band has to play, minutes entered into a TextBox, and the songs genre, selected from a ComboBox. The songs cannot repeat and must be random.I have already coded the program to read the .txt file but have not clue where to start with the rest.
