Listview: Remove 'dots' Around Selection?
Nov 25, 2009If you add a list view, then add a column, and an item, set the view to Details and run it, there will be dots around the item. Those dots will also appear whenever you select an item, along with a highlighted color. I've downloaded projects that don't have them, and when comparing I don't see any difference in listview settings between that and my listview... How do you remove those dots?

Oct 9, 2009I want to learn how to populate a combobox so if a vlaue is selected in another combobox then it will be invisible for selection. You can NOT use combobox1.items.remove since my box is bound to a datasource.So I either need to create a new query and adapter and bind the combobox2 to that query, or fill combobox2 from combobox1 minus the selected item in combobox1. Either way I need some help writing code correctly.I have tried a few different ways but not succesful, I was probably on the right track a few times but I am still not very proficent in code writing.This is the code I have written so far for my program, I deleted all my attempts at remove selected item since none worked and were just confusing.

Jun 4, 2012I am using datarepeater to display rows of information from database. When i click a 'save' button and i would like to loop through the rows of data in repeater. The code i am using is able to do all these. The only problem i encountered is at the Interface side. When i am looping the data-repeater. The selection 'frame' (refer to the picture point as 'A') is moving from record to the next record and scrollbar is auto moving as well to scroll to further down until the last row where looping finish.Is there anything can be done to remove the selection 'frame' and stop datarepeater from scrolling while looping the datarepeater.

Because whenever I remove a control and add it again, it does not Load but rather just changes its visibility from false to true and all the variables are not reloaded.
I tried to use .Dispose() but VB.net tells me thatit can't access a disposed object whenever I try to add the control again.

I am proceeding this way because the decryption of the password is a rather complicated and long process, so decrypting one password at a time is less time consuming, especially when the user doesn't need all the passwords.When I have the password displayed, I'd like to be able to select the password in the grid to copy it. Unfortunately, the radgrid will fire the "RowClick" item command once more, and the row gets de-selected. Therefore, I cannot copy the passwords. My question is: Is there a way to cancel the itemcommand of a radgrid under certain circumstances? I'd like to be able to disable the itemcommand event when the password is already decrypted.[code]

Mar 4, 2012I have a listbox with two values, Current account and Deposit account.The current account has an interest rate of 7% and the deposit account 3%.I have 4 other textboxes. The boxes on the right is where the user inputs and the left side holds the value.
Account Type [ ] Listbox >>[Current account]
Deposit account
Investment Amount [ ] [ ]
Interest over a year [ ]
What I want for the Investment Amount is that if the user selects Current account, the amount invested will be automatically calculated with the 7% interest and the same for the deposit, calculation with 3% interest.And the Interest over a year textbox to show how much the interest will be over that year at the rate (whether its 7 or 3%)

Clicking On Any Day Clears Selection
Jan 7, 2010Clicking on any day clears the selections. This bug is repoducable by simply opening a new WindowsForms project, dropping a MonthCalendar control onto its' surface. Click on the TitleBackground, click on a month, Jan thru Dec, and the bug will become self-evident. There may be another bug, if you click on either the Next or Previous month buttons, the selections will shift to the first week of the month. Finally, the Today key at the bottom of the calendar doesn't fully highlight. I am currently using Windows Vista, I will try to repo this on XP as soon as I can.
