Basically, what I'm doing is navigating to a website with a backgroundworker. In the WebBrowser1_DocumentCompleted event, I put code to fill in a form and I set the value of a boolean called "formFinished" to true once the form has been finished and submitted. The problem I'm having is that it only posts data to the second website, no matter the order of the websites. I'm wondering how this is possible since I have a boolean in state which only gets set to true once the first form has been submitted. So I have no clue as to why it only submits the second one, but not the first one.
I found on msdn samples and modified (add Thread.GetDomaind.UnhandledException)
<SecurityPermission(SecurityAction.Demand, Flags:=SecurityPermissionFlag.ControlAppDomain)> _ Public Sub Main() ' Add the event handler for handling UI thread exceptions to the event.[code].....
when i try to increment the for loop it jumps to case 5 of the select case statement. What i actually want is when i press the Next button it shows me a set of options which is case 2, but now it straight away jumps to case 5.
Private Sub btnNext_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles btnNext.Click Dim counter1 As Byte = 1 For counter1 = 1 To 5 Select Case counter1
What I'm trying to do is first calculate the deductions (0.5 and %7) amount form entered visa amount, then send remaining amount to cell "B6" in my workbook sheet1. if there is more than one visa then I need to see total of all visas after deductions in cell "B6". [code]
Dim cv As Integer Dim cc As Integer Dim CurrentValue As Double Dim ObsoleteValue As Double
[code]....
Basically this code works for the first column of the DataGridView. It sort of stops iterating after the last calculation of the row is performed and doesn't change the cc value at all. Meaning the loop gets stuck after the first iteration.
I have a list of string in an array. I'm loop through those strings and if the text of a combo box matches one of those strings, I want a message to appear. If they don't match, I want a method to be executed.
[CODE...]
The messagebox appears, but the method is still executed. Which means it isn't stopping when it finds the match. I tried exiting the loop, but it still doesn't work.
I am trying to search a page for certain links only, but can't seem to find a way to have it 'search' for a 'keyword' in the links, and only list those in a ListBox - What I have now works to grab ALL the links on the page, but I need to only find SPECIFIC ones:
Public Class Form1 Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, _ ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
I have made an application in VB.NET.The Button click codes are working fine. I have made a small modification in the code. I have commented the line 'Me.Close'But still my form gets closed. I think the application is executing from elsewhere.
I'm using a DO interation to loop a function I'm using to test for internet connectivity. The code is working fine, except that when one of the tests is satisfied the loop stops. I want this to continue in the background while the program is running. How can I get this to work?
Private Sub checkInternet() Dim InetChecker As Boolean InetChecker = CheckForInternetConnection() Do While LabelCount.Text <> "" Thread.Sleep(10) [Code] .....
Im currently making a tower defense game and im on my last bug for the game and i cannot get it solved. For some reason my For Loop to check if a shot hits a person is not working properly. Ill set it to "For Me.x = 1 To NumOfFaces 'Const for 5' and itll only check the first enemy and last enemy. Here is the code to check for if a shot hits an enemy, this runs on a timer through out the game.

<frameset rows="0,*" border="0" frameborder="0" framespacing="0"> <frame name="entrustTruePassAppletFrame" src="EntrustTruePassApplet.html" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no" noresize> <!-- It is mandatory for the frame where the user interaction happens to have the name defined in the Configuration as appletHtmlGuiTarget--> <frame name="entrustTruePassGuiFrame" src="AuthenticateUserInputRoamingEPF.html"> </frameset>
Was updating a project and all of a sudden the auto-filling of a WebBrowserControl's Dropdownbox stopped working. Here is the HTML of the Input box:
[Code]....
I think it is the "onkeyup" thing that isn't getting fired properly so the dropdown list isn't updating itself... it was working fine before, and now, with no changes, it just stopped working. can someone take a look at my code and see if they spot anything? EDIT: attached an image of the dropdown box in question. as I type, it does the lookup. (using the onkeyup event). I am setting the value of the dropdown to the five digit code at run-time, trying to trigger the onkeyup event to get it to get the full line, but it won't work.

I then found out that there was a setting I needed to change and then flash started to work again for me.I just sent the program to my friend and flash isn't working for him in his webbrowser. What do I do?and the setting i changed was

I have a VB.NET application and a timer that refreshes the webbrowser every 5 seconds on the application. Now it works 100% fine with Windows Vista. It also works fine on another computer that has Windows XP. But when i come to run this application on my server that has Windows XP installed the application will just not refresh. Is there anything that i can do to code it to FORCE refresh the browser every 5 seconds?
In my application, I want to have 10 webbrowsers, which go to google like this. For i = 0 To 9 Dim Browser As New WebBrowser Browser.Name = "Browser" & [i] Browser.Navigate("[URL]") Browser.Visible = True Next
So now I will have 10 webbrowsers aimed for google, right? So how do I make a loop that clicks the search button 10 times? I know I need to use member_invoke like this Browser.Document.GetElementById("search").InvokeMember("click") But I have no clue how to code the loop.
I want webbrowser to visit multiple urls that I filled in List(of String). I use a for each loop to iterate over the List, but the webbrowser only show the last url ask.com. I want webbrowser to visit and display all the urls.
Dim UrlListArray As New List(Of String) UrlListArray.Add("http://www.google.com") UrlListArray.Add("http://www.yahoo.com")
I cannot get the messagebox to show up on my screen when the program checks the text fields on the webpage that says "this is the test".
Here its the code: Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click If WebBrowser1.Document.Forms(0).InnerText = "this is the test" Then MessageBox.Show("worked!") End If End Sub
How to make the messagebox to show up on the screen when the program checks the text fields on the webbrowser by on the webpage?
I have two web browser controls on my form. I also have several buttons like bold, underline, etc. My probem is the gotfocus of the web control is not working correctly. If I click on the web browser control to add text the gotfocus is not fired. If I click on a text box first and then click in the browser control it is fired. I need to know which has focused so the bold etc know which control to work on.
So, I'm trying to make a spiffy little program that lets you search for flash games, and it will automatically display the flash game within the program. (by writing document text to a webbrowser control) Unfortunately, the site I use to get the games from uses iFrames from Custom Google Search to house the search results. I know how to deal with frames in a webbrowser (WebBrowser1.document.window.frames("frame name here").document.so on and so forth), however it seems as though iFrames are different. When I try
WebBrowser1.document.window.frames("googleSearchFrame") , it doesn't recognize that it's there. Same thing if I replace the name with the index of the frame - it's not there. Using
I have a pretty good understanding of VB.NET. Basically I'm trying to fill in the password to login to a school website, but for some reason it won't fill the value in. The closest that I've come is getting the password to appear on screen, but it's not masked with asterisks and when I click login it says invalid password. It's almost as if it edits the label right before the text box for the password.
Here's a section of the html code from the login page: HTML <FORM ACTION="/pls/PROD/twbkwbis.P_ValLogin" METHOD="POST" NAME="loginform" AUTOCOMPLETE="OFF"> <TABLE CLASS="dataentrytable" SUMMARY="This data entry table is used to format the user login fields"> <TR> <TD CLASS="delabel" scope="row" ><LABEL for=UserID><SPAN class=fieldlabeltext>UID:</SPAN></LABEL></TD> [Code] .....
The textbox that has the NAME="PIN" is the value I wish to change. Here is some of the code that I have tried where webMain is a WebBrowser VB.NET control. This doesn't work, but does display the unmasked password: Dim passwordTextBox As HtmlElement = webMain.Document.GetElementById("PIN") passwordTextBox.InnerText = txtWingsPIN.Text The webpage [URL]
if i webbrowser1.navigate "[URL]" when this page was loaded then automatically navigate to [URL] i try webbrowser document completed event but still not working
I have a text file that has a list of image files. I am trying using a loop to load these files onto a webbrowser control and then print them. The code is as following:
Public Function printimages() Dim webby As New WebBrowser Dim sr2 As StreamReader = New StreamReader("\fileshareapplicationsattaches.txt")
I have list of urls that I use a foreach loop on. I want to visit each url with the webbrowser and collect html, but the webbrowser only collects the html of the last url. I think the loop is too fast?
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button2.Click Dim Collecthtml As String = "" Dim websitelist As List(Of String) = GetURLs()
