XML Schema As Custom Data Type?

I'm building a vb.net application that composes messages for later message queueing in accordance with a predefined schema that an observer of the message queue requires.I've made the XSD file for the schema already, but I was wondering if there was any way to import the schema as or convert it to a custom object type in my .net application, where the elements of the schema would represent data fields or sub-objects to be filled programmatically.
Is there any way to do this?Am I getting my terminology correct here, or would there be a better way to accomplish what I'm attempting to do?I'd like to be able to create a schema and use it as a definition for some kind of data transfer object in my applications, without having to make the object as a separate VB class file.

I recently downloaded VB 2010 Express so i am quite new to the language, but i have worked with dark basic, which seems to b very similar.Anyway, my problem is that i cannot seem to correctly set out my array of a custom type/class. i am trying to create two arrays, one of available entities and another of selected entities of which the user selects the entities to be dealt with in irrelevant ways. i have creates a button (called test) which adds some entities to the available list and all the entities come back the same value but they shouldnt be as you'll c in the code. i have run the step into command a found that "available.item(#).Name = " will change all of the entity's names.As of current i am working with lists as the array kept asking for a 'new' statement but i couldnt figure out where to put it.[code]

I have been trying to solve a problem related to using RolesProviders in MVC.Basically I would like to an additional set of criteria to the roles table so that a user can switch roles based on what they are doing on the site.However as simple as it may sound its proving to be a nightmare. I cannot for love nor money come up with a solution. I have tried overloading the provider, creating extension methods (which never work with the Roles class) but finally I decided to simply create a reference to my own custom provider and just completely bypass the whole User, Roles class.Now I am getting a ridiculous error which states that I cannot cast MyProvider class to an instance of MyProvider class? All I am doing is calling the Roles.Provider method and casting its return value to my custom provider class (which inherits from RolesProvider). The asp.net forums are a waste of time since no one ever answers the questions and there are simply no examples of extending the Roles/Membership model without using SQL server.

In visual studio (VB environment), for exemple, with point structure, while debbuging, in state of displaying {system.drawing.point} at the object value, its display the X and Y value.For exemple :

i have a data set on the data set many data adapters .i add a data adapter in the data set the designer was automatically delete then lot of error was coming and i search in google and i go this method and i do that right click the data set and "Run Custom tool" on that time the designer will automatically created. but when i do that a error was coming "The custom tool 'MSDataSetGenerator' failed. If you know a bit about database design, you would mind glancing at this? I don't know if I my logic is right or not.Schools, players, and coaches can have awards. Schools have players and coaches, states have schools. - Am I missing something?As far as populating the database, I want to have static data entered into the database before a user runs the program and then allow them to add new information that would only be saved (to a save file, not overwriting the original static data) if they clicked a button. How do I go about this

The new command text returns data with schema different from the schema of the main query. Check your query's command text if this is not desired. I am getting this warning, whenever I add a query in a Strongly Typed DataSet which returns a single column.
Ex
SELECT DISTINCT Building
FROM Room
ORDER BY Building
When I give this query it will show me a warning. Because warning leads to a constraint error when ever i call the same function in a windows form.

I have a purely XML database. It's stored as XML, there is no other database file. I did this by first creating a dataset in VB, then adding tables and relationships. I load the database by calling DataSet.ReadXml(FilePath), and save the database by calling DataSet.WriteXml(FilePath).
Now I need to make schema changes, but need to preserve existing data. How might I go about doing this? As soon as I load the database I loose all data if I change the schema in the dataset designer.
I have searched for changing database schema, but everything I find deals with real databases, not XML only ones, and the info doesn't apply because they are using db connections and then running sql against it and AFAIK XML databases have no way to "connect".

i have been coding for years, but never integrated XML. So I guess I'm a newbie. I have inserted an XSD file in my project, ARequest.xsd. I created a folder in my project called XML just to organize things, so this file ARequest.xsd, is in this folder.
Now I have a form that displays data from a database that has the same fields that are in this XSD file. Can I load the XSD file into my Windows Form, load the elements from the data on the windows form and then create an XML file then send it? If so how? Any code snippets would be helpful. I am pulling data from a local MSSQL database using a stored procedure, then send the data to a web service. Every part of the component works well except for a pesky problem will a DBNull being returned from the DataRow field, when I know that the field is not null and has valid data. The database and associated INSERT statements that add to this field are designed to not allow NULL entries. When I debug break the program on or right before the line that throws the error I see that the field has valid data for the current row.If I add a null check to the code (as below) the operation continues as normal:

Why is the read operation returning DBNull instead of the data in the database?
EDIT: Just to be clear, the operation does return the proper data, but the data is not being saved into the variable.

I'd like to auto-register the common/simple services in my unity container. I think the cleanest way to do this would be via a custom atribute.I can then examine all the (abstract) classes in an assembly and register those types with unity.The piece of information I'm missing is the interface(s) that the class wants to be registered against
eg:
Public Class AutoRegisterAttribute
Public Property ForInterface As System.Type
Public Sub New(ForInterface As System.Type)
