i have a problem with my picture box. first let me discribe whats its like, i have a panel underneath my picbox so i can allow the user to scroll across the image when its zoomed in, when i zoom in image for example:

View 2 RepliesI have a picture box in a panel control. I want to be able to scroll the image in the picture box. I have added two separate scroll bar controls (Vertical and Horizontal). When the control loads, it load the image properly. However when i scroll the scroll bars, the image vibrates but does not actually scroll. Is there a property I need to set in the picturebox? I am assuming that when the picturebox loads the image that it defaults to Normal. Thus the image is clipped. Does this mean that I cannot scroll it? I have tried the other SizeMode properties (Stretch, AutoSize, Zoom etc). But I still cannot get the image to scroll.

I have application, where is a big image, displayed in picture box, but only a part of image is on the screen (I set display mode "zoom", so it's center). But now, I need to fluently scroll this image using mouse, so when I click on picture box, and move mouse, the visible part of image should be changing.
View 2 RepliesThis is for a game i've been working on in C# & XNA. I'm not asking for code however, so language doesn't matter. I've got a console. I want to store up to the last 5 messages sent so the user can scroll through them. Additionally, I want to store whatever their message was if they hit up to go through the messages, so if they hit down again they have it back. If they send a message without going back to that, it's lost. I'm not really sure what a good implementation for this might be. I'm thinking a string array where the last value gets deleted each time a message is sent, and a separate string for the current message.

in my program were ever you click on a picturebox it draws a image, that works, but the picturebox it in a panel so that when the picturebox gets to big scroll bars appear, that works, but when i scroll down the picturebox and click it wont put a image exacly were i clicke, but if i did not scroll at all and click it works just fine.
View 11 RepliesI am trying to use a VScrollbar and a HScrollbar control on a form to move an image around inside a picture box.This does not involve autoscroll.I am having no problem with the small arrow buttons at the ends of the scrollbars (which generate small increment/decrement ScrollEventTypes) or with clicking on the scrollbars (which generates a largeincrement or largedecrement ScrollEventType).However when I drag the scroll bar back and forth, it does not generate any activity even when I release the scroll bar.How do I enable draging the scroll bar to produce a parallel movement of the image.[code]
related but minor problem is that the scroll event seems to be triggered twice, once when I click on the scroll bar and once after the click event. the first call does not generate any change to the image because the scrollbar value has not yet been changed so it is not a huge problem but seems an unecessary loop to me. Anyway to avoid both handling of the event (pick a different event that is only handled when the scrollbar value is changed?). Why is the scroll event handled twice per mouse click?
The following zipped up Visual Studio Solution on Skydrive is immediately buildable and runnable; a usercontrol on a Form. Problem? If you click on any of the Edit Buttons and move the Horizontal Scroll, the values as they change in the Label_Values are off by one when you release the slider button. I think this is a timing problem between the Paint handler and the Horizontal Scroll event handler at the very bottom of the User Control code. Sorry I didn't eliminate

The middle mouse wheel doesn't scroll the scroll bar; I have to actually click and hold the scroll bar and drag it down to scroll. Is there a property to allow this?

The problem is that this works perfectly if I use the left and right arrows and it also works perfectly if I use the scroll bar's slider SLOWLY. If I scroll using the slider and move it quickly then the scroll gets out of sync.The small change and large change are both set to 1 and maximum is set to 8

However, I dont want horizontal scroll, I want vertical. When I set TableLayoutPanel to AddRows, a vertical scrollbar will not appear.

I am trying to create a custom control using vb.net.I have added a image to the user control and the problem I am having is that when I resize the image, the image seems to move as well.I want to be able to resize the user control height without moving the image on the user control.
everytime I resize the user control, it seems to move the image on it as well.Is there a way of leaving the image where it is without moving it as the user control moves?
I've got code to allow the user to import an image to the document they have opened, however right now, the image displays at it's default size, and well, if it's a large image, the document stretches and looks like crap. I want the user to be able to select the image after they insert it, and have the handles show up on the corners so they can resize it, and would also like to have it allow them to move it around the document if possible. I want the users to be able to select a different background image to match their industry. I have all the images embedded, but can't figure out how to allow the user to select.
Preference is to have a separate form for the user to cheese on launch, but I am OK with it just being a dropdown in the lower left corner of the app.

My application has many in it, but I want to give the user the option of browsing for an image of their own to apply to a form. I don't intend to save the images as defaults or anything. Just the option to browse and apply to a form.
