Asp.net - Refresh Page With Framesets On Button Click

I have a web application built around a frameset. The main page (with the frameset layout) is index.aspx. After the user logs in, if there are any alerts it redirects the main content frame to an alerts page with a confirmation button on it. When they click this button I want the index.aspx to be reloaded. If I use the response.redirect("index.aspx") on button click it reloads the main content frame with another frameset.
The server-side button click sets a flag within the database so that the user doesnt see the alert again.
how do I force a complete reload of the entire frameset?

The btnGo_ServerClick function needs to fire on the button click, but not on page refresh.I've tried using IsPostback, but that is always true- even on the button click.N.B. I'd rather not go into the reasons behind why I'm using a serverclick, rather than an asp:button and a click event. Suffice to say it just isn't suitable for I am doing.

I have a form called FrmPracDetails which is built up with a List view called LvwColProc. Therefore when you click a field on the LvwColProc it takes you to another form called FrmColProcessing, here you can make changes to certain fields which are also present on FrmPracDetails. What I want to do is when you make changes on FrmColProcesing and Click the Save Button (which calls the Save function)the changes appear instantly on FrmPracDetails. Please note, FrmColProcessing will always be open next to FrmPracDetails. I have tried to put this code in the Save function present in FrmColProcessing as shown below, but it doesnt Refresh FrmPracDetails form.

I have master page in ASP.NET. I have added two asp controls to master page i.e. _EmpDROPDOWN and _findBUTTON.I have one content page. I have ModalPopupExtenders that show associations that are NOT tied to a specific product. The associations that ARE tied to the product are shown in a tabcontainer with delete imagebuttons next to them. When I was testing earlier I noticed that the associations that I delete from the tabcontainer don't show up in the modal unless I click on the refresh button in my browser. Is there some code I could use that would make it so that when I click on the delete button, it will automatically refresh my Modal so that I won't have that extra step? [code]

Imagine you expand onto 'Sofas and armchairs' and click 'fabric sofas', it will redirect to next page on click and it will send data '10661' to the next page. Then the listview will updated with reference '10661'. After that click on another link, maybe leather sofas. The listview will re-update table with new reference '10662'

I have a search field and button on my master page. When a user types in a search term, and hits submit, I would like the search results to display in a content page.
What would be the best, most logical way of handling this?
I thought of using FindControl on my content page to find the button, and then somehow figure out if it had been clicked or not...but my logic quickly spiraled downhill.

I have managed to automate the following page: https://post.craigslist.org/atl/S/msg/none/x and even click the "Continue" button, but I noticed that my vb 2008 program is creating an infinite loop and tries to click "Continue" buttons on following pages. I only want my program to click the continue button once, fill out more data on the next page and then click another continue button on a later page. But I need the following code to end on the first page before I can continue coding for the following pages so that the web browser doesn't go crazy.Here is the code that I am using and not sure if this is called an infinite loop, but that is what it seems to be doing:

I found that if you press F5 or refress from browser window, the last event fires again
example, I have clicked on a button, the button event is carried out normally, but if I refresh the page by pressing F5 key the same event is fired again.

When I click in any button in the same page, the entire page reload and it display 8 items in the RadioButtonList, If I click for the second time I get 12 items in the RBL...How can I prevent the page to reload if I click in this button. ?

I have a popup aspx page that receives data from a parent page gridview Edit click. There is a great deal of parsing of data from parent page to pop up as the data is being translated in pop up, then sent back to parent page to be reassembled in the original text block before update.
When the popup passes the data back or is canceled, the parent page gridview is still in Edit mode.I would like to pass the Cancel or Update button click from the popup to the parent page gridview so it can complete the update or cancel event without asking the user to click the corresponding command button link from the gridview edit mode, to Update or Cancel.
UPDATE: There is also a jquery UIBlocker on the Parent page to prevent the user from returning to the page until the PopUp page processing has been completed. Below is the critical code:

Had a problem with preventing the popup from reloading. So there is an if condition in the load event. A dynamic number of controls are built on the popup as literals. So the Page Init event and Page Load event fire on non Postback to rebuild the controls.

I have a form with a Tab Control that has 18 pages. When I click on a tab it opens the page and select a textbox on that page (txtTextbox1. Select() ). This works for the first 8 pages but not for the remaining 10 pages. Although on these pages I can mouse click on the textbox, enter info, save then click my Add button that clears the textboxes and has the code (txtTextbox1. Select() ). The textbox is selected just fine. The code for all my pages is the same except for the tab name and the control names. The tab key will move the selection to the next textbox in order on all pages and the Enter key is coded to do the same. The first 8 pages have a total of 256 labels, buttons, list boxes, textboxes and checkboxes on them.

I have wasted lot of time in searching and finding the simplest way to detect a page refresh and when the user press F5 button on his browser.I have seen most of the samples provided on net but none of them could satisfy my needs.I will explain in a simple step way to understand my issue:
I am trying to use sessions and loading some images and storing them to folder.Next I have a button to process some operations on images.(Here I have a postback where I am trying to detect postback and savng them to the same folder.)Now here comes my issue now whenever user tried to refresh his page manually or by clicking F5 buton on his browser I need to load all the images again from the folder.Here is my code:
