Is there a way to edit a text in a certain page via online/browser view without going back to the webdev file to edit and update it? Because as I do the tutorial of web parts, it limits the editing and update portion to the image and other stuff, but not on the text part.

I am loading a listbox with lines from a txt file. Now I would like to be able to edit values within that listbox by going there with the mouse cursor and type a new value..

I need to check the size of textboxes in a webpage. I have already written the function which retrieves the maximum size of textbox and which writes the html codes of the webpage in a textfile. suppose i have these lines in my textfile:

How can i change the size of all textboxes to 50 (the maximum size) in the textfile itself?
I programmatically edit my datagridview cell values. I use the vertical scrollbar to find the row I want to edit, select the row then click an edit button that takes me to another form where changes to the record are made. I then click a button which saves the changes and returns me to the datagridview form. No problems here.
When I return to the grid, the records are displayed with the first record at the top of the grid. That is, the vertical scroll bar has repositioned itself to the very top.
Is it possible for the datagridview to "remember" the position of the vertical scroll bar so that when I am returned to the grid, the rows displayed are the same as when I left?

View 4 RepliesI'm using a Datagridview to fetch information from an XML. Each row contains a separate entry. I can read from and append to the XML database, but I want to:
A) Be able to save any edits made in the database to an XML file.
B) Store and fetch a collection of possible variables to populate a list box.
A should be relatively easy, but I don't know if B is. The XML database will contain hex values that can be written to predefined offsets, and each could be any number of bytes long. So one entry in the XML/Datagridview database could read "00,0A,0B,0C", where commas separate available write values, with each possible value being another line in a listbox. When a value is picked from the listbox it will be written to the XML.
I don't want to have to make <ListBoxValue1>, <ListBoxValue1> in the XML for each possible entry, so I'm hoping there's a more efficient way.
If you're interested in what I'm making, it's a hex editor that loads descriptions of offsets from an XML, then loads the values for each offset from a file. Here's a screenshot.

Ok, so I have a listview on one form, and when a button is pressed it opens up a new form with the contents of the selected listview item and it's subitems in a series of textboxes. The user can then change the data in the textboxes and either press save to make the changes or cancel to close the window. What command would I use to change the selected listview item and subitems to whatever is in the boxes?

I am developing a program that makes it easier for users to log on to a website and search for specific data. I have the first portion finished in which I have a form with the Ax Web Browser control.
The web browser control navigates to a local website and automatically logs in for the end user. This is done by using code which automatically fills in the username and password and then submits the form to logon using something similar to this: WebBrowser1.Document.Forms.Item(, 0).elements("txtUsername").value = "user"
Once logged on - there is a search page which contains a combo box and list box. I am trying to set specific values for the combo box and list boxes.For example - the combo box on the website is titled: cbxDate and contains the following values: Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month.
A list box titled: lstArea contains the following values: Zone A, Zone B, Zone C, All.I am trying to figure out if there is a way through code to select, in this example, "Yesterday" in the cbxDate and "Zone B" in the lstArea on the webpage.If anyone knows of a solution, please feel free to let me know. I coded a web browser over the course of a year called Nova - very advanced with tabbed browsing, bookmarks, homepage, history, etc etc etc etc. I could go on all day about how advanced it is. But.. there is one flaw. You cannot make it the default browser; I don't know the code!I already know the CommandLineArgs stuff so it actually opens the HTML file rather than just opening the program; in fact, I already can make files open with Nova completely. It's just the other stuff - you know, when a website is to be opened from a help file or something, it opens with Nova, Windows recognises it as the default browser, stuff like that.

The first being that I have a textbox for my address bar and I want it to do a few things, I want it to expand when i set my browser to fullscreen , be able to press enter when typing in it and it will take me to that webpage and for it to show recent history... (i know it seems like a ton of expectations mainly i would like the first 2 the third is not as important) So i dont know how to do any of that...

I have been searching a lot online but couldn't find a solution for my problem. I want it to refresh every certain interval of time without this message to display. Now Ican't minimize my program because I'm putting an automatic Sendkeys.send("{Enter}") after the refresh to get rid of that message by clicking on "Retry".And If I minimize it the Enter will be executed on the active Window, which might be any other Window.
