How do I enable a check_change for a checkbox in VB.Here is what I have so far.

I have a link here that works perfect for calling the postback close that I need to happen:

However, I would like to be able to call the *javascript:parent.__doPostBack('Close','')* method from the code-behind file rather than the user clicking the link. I.e., when I have completed my tasks in the application code, call parent.doPostBack as my last function call, which closes the window in question.
I have created a spreadsheet with multiple worksheets. I would like, after checking one of several checkboxes (which I could change to another button I really dont care) taking me to another of the worksheets within the same file. What I don't want to happen is the original sheet to disapear so that I can't return to it via the tab at the bottom of the page if I need to.

I am trying to make a program that includes checkboxes that the user may make himself.I want to create a new checkbox whenever I press Button1, and i want the text of that checkbox to be the text I have in Textbox1.
Trying to make it so I can type "Hello" in textbox1 and then press Button1 and it will then show a new checkbox on my form in a given location that i put.

We are trying to modify a program to control a usb relay device. Essentially what the program originally does is give you a series of check boxes that you check to make the relay fire. We tried to modify the code so that the box is checked after 5 seconds using a counter and an if statement. It works, but only partially, what happens is the check box shows a check, but the even that is normally triggered does not happen.

I am creating a Microsoft Access 2003 database which will be using Visual Basic code in the backend.I have a form called frmReports. On this form are three option groups consiting of checkboxes. What I want to happen is if one of the checkboxes is checked, then the other two option groups are made invisible.
The context of the problem is a teacher is reporting on pupils. If a pupil is marked as being absent from class, the other two option groups (Behvaviour and Homework) disappear as no other information can be input.

I have a HTML checkbox which will perform a simple validation on another textbox, so the textbox will only be enabled if the checkbox is checked, but I also want to access this checkbox control in code behind to check and uncheck it. I don't think I can use the runat="server" because on the onClick event which will cause ('<%=uitxtVouTypeRedeemValue.ClientID%>') to be output as plain text.

View 1 RepliesI've got a asp.net gridview and inside of the grid view I have a check box at the header of the grid view like so: [Code] This gives me a nice little check box at the top of the grid view, the event OnCheckedChanged calls a function called SelectAllRows that looks like this: [Code] So if I click this header checkbox it checks all of the items in the gridview, and if I uncheck it, it unchecks all the items in the gridview. This works fine...but what doesn't seem to work is if the page loads up and I check the grid view header checkbox to true and it selects all the items in the gridview, then i click a button such as a DELETE button that calls some server side code. That code simply loops through the grid view and checks if the checkbox has been checked, if it is it calls code to delete an item.

There were several things in the code that needed fixing to really be useful to me:The fact that the panel in the regular groupbox overlapped the checkbox control so that the bottom of some letters were being cut off. When changing the back color of the groupbox, it didn't change the back color of the checkbox. Fixing these two problems was easy, but fixing the second one led to a new problem. When changing the backcolor of the groupbox to Transparent, it also changes the backcolor of the checkbox to Transparent, thus displaying the text for both the checkbox and the groupbox's header.
