Sep 25, 2010I want to create a simple program in Visual Basic 2010 that can take input from three text boxes and when pressing a button I can write to a file, the input can be letters or numbers or both of them about 10 characters long. The program should overwrite a specific text file and place a predifined text on it and the input from the text boxes must be placed in a certain
position of the file.
Example:
"This is the input from text box I want to include" the "input from the text box" shows how it should positioned the input from the text boxes inside the file.

Aug 21, 2010I'm trying to write a program that detects the contents inside a textbox, and if empty displays a warning, and does not input anything into a rich text box. However, if something is detected, it would not display the warning and input the textbox's text into the rtb.
I got everything else, just need help with the textbox detection code.

Apr 28, 2010The coding below is to retrieve the Raw Image Data from the Database and then write as a JPG image file. The problem is the image file (image.jpg) is "nothing" after file created. I guess there is something wrong in the following coding.

No any runtime errors I can find, and I double check rawData (i.e. Buffer) contains data. But don't know why there is "nothing" inside the image (image.jpg).

Oct 22, 2008i'm creating 64 button dynamically during run time. and from database i'm getting the description, font color, back color and picture path. and if the picture path is not nothing, then i need to display that picture in that button. if picture path is nothing, then need to display the description as button text using font color and back color.
this button values are not loaded only once. using button click Addhandler, each button values keeps on changing each time.

while i run the program, the image is diplaying in correct button if picture path exist and button that didn't have the picture path is displaying the text.
but the image is not fitting inside the Button. i can see only half of the image. i need a way to make the Image stretched or reduced to fit inside button.

With the click of another button i hope to have all the values entered into these text boxes stored in a text file. However, i cant seem to find a way to add strings together to allow me to retrieve the values entered within the text boxes created.
