C# - Keeping Track Of Values With Dynamically Created Controls

I have a WPF application that allows users to create questions of all different types which depending on the type will use a textbox,combobox,checkboxes, or radio buttons to allow the user to answer the question after they build some sort of questionnaire. My question is what is the best way to keep track of the answers across all the different controls after the controls are created and the questionnaire is created on the fly. Right now, i'm looping through all the containers and getting the values based on the controlType.

I am trying to create a quiz application in Visual Basic 2008. I need to be able to store a score value when the player gets a correct answer. When the value is stored a new question set appears. Once the score is calculated I want to be able to show this is in a new form so the value needs to be passed from one form to the other. I'm not entirely sure how to do this but I believe it will incorporate a module.

What I am trying to do is dynamically create a bunch of dropdown lists and then I want to loop through them and update the database with those values, but the problem I am facing is that I create the dropdown lists, but then when I go back to loop through them they are no longer in the panel. I don't know why but when I am debugging I have a count of 50 controls in pnlTeacherSelect right up until I press the button that calls prcChoose.

Using ASP.Net MVC1 and am dynamically creating the html in a model that is then dropped into the view and rendered at run time.
My view is a single page that looks like this:

This dynamically created content is mostly dropdownlist boxes in the format of

Is it is possible to perform validation on the dropdowns lists to ensure that a value has been selected? If any of the dropdownlists that still have the default value (the "please make a selection" text) the page is then redisplayed with the font colour of the question or dropdownlist box changed to say red?
I'm from the Webforms world and have made the switch over to MVC (which I really like!) and I know there are some pretty slick validation tools out there but you seem to have to account for them within the view itself.
I cannot pass a HTML helper through the viewdata of the controller as it does not render unless it has been coded directly into the view itself.
Also, I'm looking for a pure asp.net solution as I cannot use javascript due to accessiblity concerns. I can access all the values of the dropdowns without any problems throug the formscollection object but from there I'm a bit stuck.

I'm having trouble trying to access a list of comboboxes created dynamically in one procedure from another. I believe I have to add in an event handler but I not sure how this is going to work. Or should I change the array scope?

I would like to ask a question with DataGridView event handling.The event I am going to handle is the double-clicking of a cell in a DataGridView:If the DataGridView's are statically drawn on the form at design time, then it is easy to assign to each of them an even handler by double clicking the corresponding event in the properties panel.

I have VB 2008 Express and I am also new to VB. My problem is I cannot find any assistance with creating an Event that is attached to a Control that I inserted on a dynamically creeated TabPage. I call the "create_tab" sub (below) that creates a New TabPage and add some Controls (Button, two textboxes). Now, that I have the TabPage (and there could be multiple), I want to bind an Event to these items. I'm developing a chat system. In this I'm creating dynamic tab panels in a tab container when I change the selected index of the list box of users. In these tab panels I'm creating 2 text boxes and 1 button dynamically and adding a handler for the button click event. I'm storing the tabid's in the session state and recreating all the tabs in the page_init event. I can fire the button click event in the tab panel, in which I'm unable to access these dynamically created text boxes but I can access a label which I created statically. I used the findcontrol() method but it is showing an error message: "Use new command to create the textbox instances". It is showing something like I haven't created the instances of textbox.

I have to create controls for inputting info to create people objects in the program, because I don't know how many people they are going to input, I have a button that they can press to add more fields.
I need to add a doubleclick event for these dynamic controls (text boxes), how can I create an event for them if they haven't been created yet. Also, as far as I know you cant make a variable part of an object name while declaring it. I need to do something like

I have two combo boxes, and four buttons. When the user clicks "Add" on the first combo box, it adds a new item to the combo box with "New" and then lets the user rename that item to something else. That "new" item has to have an array of "answers" that go along with that item in the list. What I'm having trouble figuring out is assigning "answers" to the second combobox for each item in the first combobox and changing the second combobox when selecting an item in the first combobox.
EXAMPLE:

Suppose i want to draw semi-random ellipses on my form.Is there any way i can check if they get clicked at a later stage?Is there any way of storing the location of individual ellipses and then comparing the mouse-click to my list of locations to see if one was clicked?
I can imagine how it could be done with squares or rectangles, but i dont know how to approach it with ellipses.
Im sure this has been asked before, but i've spent a good while searching around for something i can use and came up emptyhanded.

I can usually find the answers to most of my questions via the Google Gods, but not this time.I have a form that has a TabPageControl and on that page a collection of labels and text boxes via a usercontrol.
On the form I have a button that allows the user to create a new tabpage, when the code adds a new page, it automatically adds the UserControl collection. I can't get my head around how to access the objects on the newly created tabpage.
What I need to be able todo is take the index of the tabpage that has focus and translate that against the UerContol name, but I havn't a clue how to do it!

I am trying to keep track of the total number of discounts given (whole numbers) I keep getting .75 after the first discount, and it adds .75 for every trans action after that. I have tried to pick it apart but I just don't see it. You can follow by tracking the comments that relate to the summary. I know that is an Integer but the book has it declared as a decimal so I went with it.

I am building a sort of 'lightweight' Visual Studio, and I'm trying to implement the feature where you can drag tabs to different 'tab groups', viewing multiple tabs side by side.
I got nearly everything working, I show a ContextMenuStrip when you rightclick the tab headers, with the option of creating a new (horizontal or vertical) Tab Group. When that happens, a new TabControl is added dynamically and the selected tab is moved there. You can drag the tabs around inside a TabControl and even from one to another.
The problem now is keeping track of the 'active' tab. Since I have multiple TabControls (not just two, there can be as many as you want theoretically), their SelectedTab properties are basically useless. How am I to determine which TabControl the user is currently working in? Obviously I will always have multiple selected tabs, but only one active tab, in which the user is currently typing, editing, whatever.I need to know the active tab for obvious reasons: many menu and toolbar items act on the active tab for example. A short explanation of my controls:I have one TabGroupContainer control, which inherits UserControl. I have a TabGroup control, which inherits TabControl.I have a Tab control, which inherits TabPage.
The TabGroupContainer holds a collection of TabGroups (to which I dynamically add/remove TabGroups when required). Now I want the TabGroupContainer control to have the ActiveTab property which returns the one and only active tab (out of possibly many selected tabs).The only logical way is to keep track of the tab that was selected last, for every TabGroup.
At the moment, I am doing this:
- In the TabGroup (TabControl) class, I shadow the SelectedTab property (and return a Tab instead of a TabPage). More importantly, in the property setter, I raise a SelectedTabChanged event:

However, it still doesn't work. I soon figured out why: I am checking that the previously SelectedTab is not the same as the new value in the property setter of the (shadowed) SelectedTab property. I don't raise the event when they were the same, and in this case they were the same (as there is only one tab in the TabGroup!).So, I took that check out, and now it seems to work when I click in the text editor.
So one problem remains: the active tab is not changed when you click on the tab header (and not on the text editor). I am clueless as to how I should handle this... I am once again sure there is a simple fix, but I cannot see it. I can click the tab header, and I'm sure behind the hood it responds to this click, but it never raises it SelectedIndexChanged event because the index didn't change but was set to the same value it already had. I cannot override the SelectedIndex property (so I could skip this check and raise the event anyway even if the value didn't change), and the OnSelectedIndexChanged method is not called, so I cannot use that either...

I have an asp.net web forms application. In this application, students upload assignments and submit a survey along with it. For the survey, I read values from DB and dynamically generate ASP.NET Controls like radiobuttonlist, checkboxlist, textbox on the form during gridview's RowDataBound Event. I cannot do it in Page_Init method because I create only if a user click on a specific assignment which requires a survey to be submitted.
When I submit the survey form, the survey values are not saved into database. During debugging I figured it out that the values are not available in the codebehind page. The radiobuttonlist.selectedvalue returns and I get following error[code]....

user control, I'm dynamically creating an arrary of several labels within a groupbox on the controls form. This is done in the load event.The user control is then placed on the form of mainapplication and then run. My problem being that the labels are invisiblen I launch the app. The visible property for the labels is set to true during the creation of the controls.
