Apr 23, 2012I have a radgrid1 and inside radgrid Item template i have two asp.net imagebutton namely imagebutton1 and imagebutton2 .... i want when i click on Selected radgrid Item whose id is id then after clicking on Image Button1 i redirect to ~/book.aspx?id=1 and if i click on imagebutton2 then i redirect to ~/details.aspx?id=1 Note : the id of the item will be changed dynamically according to the selected radgrid row . I have already done it using simple Gridview but m unable to perform this action using radgrid.

Oct 24, 2011I'm doing a form to add/edit/delete values from a data catalog. everything goes fine but the Radgrid doesn't update after Submit Button is pressed in the edit/new dialog. i did it before in a more complex form but i can't figure exactly what's wrong.

Nov 2, 2011I have inherited an application that uses telerik controls. This is my first time to work with it and I'm a little confused.I have a RadComboBox that has its values hard coded. When the user selects an item, a RadGrid is refreshed to show the records that correlate with the item the user selects from this combo box. This all works great.I'm trying to create link buttons, so that when the user clicks on one, the RadComboBox value is changed to whatever value I set it to in the codebeind page and the RadGrid is refreshed to show the appropriate records.I can set the value of the RadComboBox, and see what value it has when debugging, but the RadComboBox in the browser does not reflect the change and the RadGrid is not refreshed when I programatically execute the event handler for it.

If I press the X button, the application closes fine(Goes from processes) If I were to open the application, and then navigate from the main form to another form using me.hide & form1.show, and press the red X on Form1, the application again, closes fine.

The password is encrypted, so you have to click the row to decrypt and show the actual password. All usernames and passwords can be changed by an admin When the admin presses [ENTER] to submit the new username/password combination (instead of pressing the submit button), the new combination is actually submitted (which is fine).

C# - Telerik RadGrid Set BoundColumn To ReadOnly In Edit Mode?
Jan 8, 2012I have a Telerik RadGrid that has three bound columns and one button column. I would like to let the user edit the values in only one of the bound columns. The user can add a new record so i can't set the two bound column to read only. Is there anyway i can do this in the ASPX or do i have to do it in the code behind? I have some code that is working but it is not the best.Here's my code:

Passing The Value Of A Readonly Radgrid Column To A Stored Procedure
Nov 4, 2009I have a radgrid bound to a SqlDataSource that includes a hidden, readonly column that stores a pk. I want to pass the value bound to that column to a stored procedure for Updates but the default behavior when the column is readonly is not to pass the parameter to the sqlDataSource. My question is whether there is a way to pass that value without having to go into the code behind. Here is a snippet of my asp markup.

If I set readonly="false" on the It works fine but then the user can edit the primary key value which is not desired. I know work arounds in code behind but is there any way to do it straight in the markup?
RadGrid - Filter Textboxs, Any Way To Control Their Width Dynamically?

The grid fits the size of the window, but certain views have quite a few columns and when the columns get shrunk down, the filter controls don't resize to fit. Apr 9, 2010I have the requirement to create an application that has multiple front ends developed using Windows Forms, WPF, ASP and Compact Framework Mobile Forms.I would like to be able to create a series of obejct representing the business logic and have this logic accessible from the various front ends available. My first thought was to use remoting as I'd like to be able to pass the business objects back and forth between client and server but the compact framework doesn't support remoting and also transferring a full framework business object to a compact framework business object doesn't seem possible.My next thought was to use web services but again the passing of business objects seems to be very hard to accomplish. Without doing this I would have to create individual web methods for each business operation.
Finally my next option is to use sockets and write the whole client/server logic within some classes and expose them to the UI/Business layer. My only problem with this is it is not scaleable should the number of clients increase dramatically whereas using remoting or web services I can host the solution via ASP.Net.Does anybody have an ideas on the best way forward for this or even have any input on how they would write an application that required a windows form, wpf, asp website and mobile device GUI all of which want to use the same business logic?

Aug 26, 2010I would like to know if its possible to start up a second windows forms inside the parent form. Ex: A button is pressed and a new form is showed. I would like to keep that new form inside the parent form, and have it not be able to go outside the parent form.
