So I am doing an assignment for class and I need to calculate wind chill and print the output into HTML file. I have code that works fine on my XP machine. It loads an HTML document into the VB 6 WebBrowser control and then uses the following command to print the document without any print dialog box:mfrmPrint.WebBrowser1.ExecWB OLECMDID_PRINT, OLECMDEXECOPT_DONTPROMPTUSER, PRINT_DONTBOTHERUSER_WAITFORCOMPLETIONI have also just implemented a .NET C# DLL that uses the axDHTMLEDLib. I am new to Visual Basic Studio 2008 Express and I also have upgraded my new Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium. Anyway, while following a video from Microsoft about creating my first two VB programs, I discovered that I could not create a new connection to the sample Northwind database supposedly installed with Visual Basic 2008 Express. Fact is, I can't even get the program and sample db to install on my computer.

The users understand to use absolute link and image references when sending an E Newsletter. Environment:
AIQ is a VB.Net app deployed via ClickOnce. It is an intranet app; one can be sure MS Office 2003 and the interop 11 dlls are on the target machines.
Restrictions: MAPI is out. It mangles the HTML. Since it is a ClickOnce deployment, we can't register dlls (I think, correct me if I am wrong). Therefore CDO and COM is out (again, I may be wrong.... I would be happy to be proven so).

My company is moving to a new system which has a very poor printing system in place but it does create PDF's on the file system. How to create an application to print all the PDF's based on a JOB number. I've got the filesystem search working, I have used the acrobat sdk to open each file and find certain strings to determine which pages go where. The problem is that Acrobat SDK doesn't seem to support choosing printer settings.
My first thought was no big deal I just change the default windows printer and just change the tray so the invoice part and equipment listing go to white paper from tray 1, and the remittance goes to tray 2 on blue paper. It seems like the printdocument in .net can handle a lot of printer settings but I'm not sure if a PDF can be used with a print document.

I'm printing HTML files stored on disk to tiff files using the Office MODI driver (set as the default printer). I need to multithread this code, and therefore I need to specify the output filename for the modi driver to use, otherwise I won't know which output file is for which thread. I'm currently printing the html using a webbrowser control on the form, but this not important, I'm happy to use any method that will allow me to specify the output file.

My code works correctly if I do not have the DO WHILE statement, however we are suppose to have it loop. Which it will continue to ask for the salesman's name, code, etc. but when the user enters the name "eugene" the program is suppose to calculate and output the total monthly sales and the total commission dollars. What is happening is that when a user enters "eugene" the program is not recognizing it to do what it is suppose to do(calculate and output the total monthly sales and the total commission dollars) I am stuck and need assistance on how to make it recognize eugene. I am also having trouble with trying to figure out how once eugene is entered to tell the program to add the salespersoncommission and monthly sales of each case to get the totals to output to the user. Can you add the cases?

I tried to use "System.Drawing.Printing" name space, but the only printing that i get is the actual html code.

I have htmltable which dynamically generated. I want to print this table. which consist lot of pages. when I used window.print() its printing into 7, 8 pages. but my problem is I need Header and footer on each page (A4 size). how can Set header and footer to each page.I am using asp.net with C#.I put header and footer on .aspx page but problem is that data is binding dynamic when I print then print goes multiple pages (ie 4 or 5 pages depend on data). i have a from with a treeview and a webbrowser control and three buttons. i want the back button to load the previous viewed html file from myresources and the same but opposite for forward?... also how can i and where can i link my external css to my program like my.resources so when i export the program for installing on another machine it still works? and one more thing... how can i intergrate/embed the webbrowser control into my program because as i believe it uses internet explorer and if someone installs my program onto their computer and they have un-installed ie and use firefox it won't work?
