I want to loop through a databale and change the values of a specific column in that datatable.eg: the database returns Request_ID, Desc, Date and Status_Ind. The Status_Ind column contains integer values. I dont want to show the integer values to the user. I want to convert that to a string value based on the integer values returned in that columns.

I am trying to populat a treeview with nodes that are the values of a column in a datatable. I have managed to get the correct number of nodes but the text is not displayed next to the nodes, there is just a 3 shape but the other way round and with square corners shown.
The code is below. I would like to have these parent nodes populated on the form load and then (i think this is what i have read) to be quicker i would like to then load the childnodes once a parent node has been selected, as i don't want to load the whole database on form load or when the form is refreshed.

I've got two data tables with store numbers. I need to find out what store numbers are in one data table that arent in another.say one table A might look like:
34, 35, 39
the other table B may be
34, 35, 39, 45
I need to find the 45 If I use nested For Next I can get matches but anything not a match would show up not just the 45 value as the next progresses.
I have a data table, i want to add a new column on that table, the data in that new column will depend in the data from another column. Now i can think of two ways to accomplish this, first is loop through the whole table and do the statements to get my new columns appropriate data. the second approach would be to give the new column an expression, then convert the table to xml (to remove the expression) then convert the xml string back to datatable.
Now, is there any other way around this? what could be the most optimized way in solving this task?

Im trying to check to see if a value of a label changes over time. however I can't seem to get it right.

problem is it will only check it once after ten seconds when the timer is set to 10 seconds i need to to check it every 10 seconds becuase these values display altitude, and if the server freezes the altitudes dont change. I need to make sure they are updated and not frozen.

There is a status box for me to check one of the values :> This is the flow of what I have put together so far. The problem is once I run the program everytime I press the up key to make a call to the GetPoints method the value in MyPoint is changed to reflect the forumula in the getpoints method. I explicitly used ByVal in my variables on the method call so the values in the variable would not be manipulated. I've changed it many times but I can't seem to get the method to run where it does the conversion without manipulating the values in MyPoint. I've done similar things in visual basic .net 2003 , Now I am using the visual basic .net 2008 express edition. I don't if there is a difference in the two or some unknown bug.
