I have a project in Vb.net and I want to transfer a table to "txt".I have a data transfer From iSeries but I want to use my project in VB.netbecause is more easy to the users acess the as400 and transfer the txt for any local machine.But I can't to check the option "Include end of file indicador".. When I transfer the "txt" don't do eof and the other program that recieve this "txt" don't catch because have a error..

Basically I want to take My Client.Then for example Lets say in my client I have "A = 1" Then my 2nd file which has random data in it.So Client= My Client File = The File which I want in the end result
How could I Inject "A = TextBox1.Text" from Client to File.I heard it's called "End Of File" or something like that.

I am adding a web interface (ASPX.NET: VB) to a data acquisition system developed with LabVIEW which outputs raw data files. These raw data files are the binary representation of a LabVIEW cluster (essentially a structure).LabVIEW provides functions to instantiate a class or structure or call a method defined in a .NET DLL file.I plan to create a DLL file containing a structure definition and a class with methods to transfer the structure.When the webpage requests data, it would call a LabVIEW executable with a filename parameter. The LabVIEW code would instantiate the structure,populate the structure from the data file, then call the method to transfer the data back to the website.
How do you recommend I transfer (copy) an instance of a structure from one .NET program to the VB.NET program that executed it?

My scenario is this; I'm doing a project on a vet and I have a form for the vaccinations that can be given. Each vaccine is assigned to a checkbox. What I want to do is, when a checkbox is checked, the required vaccine is added to the listbox. Also when numerous checkboxes are checked, I want all of the values to appear in the list box (the list box then gets saved to a database).
The only thing i've managed to do is; when the checkbox is checked it gets added to the list box. But when another one is checked the 2nd value replaces the first, in the list box.

Is there any way to automaticly check a option in a radiobox(in a browser) if it has no id in it? In my application I have a webbrowser which automaticly goes to a .html file that has the following script:
<html><form><input type="radio" class="radio" name="d" value="2" checked="checked">abc
<br>
<input type="radio" class="radio" name="d" value="3">def
Also there is a button and when I click it it should select the option 'ghi'. Now most solutions I found use the id in the input. But in this input there isn't any id.

I have a grid of RadioButtons, and need some help in Check / Uncheck acording to data collected from a .txt file.
The .txt file contains a list like this:
A01,a
B01,b
C01,c
A02,a
B02,b
C02,c
I have set up in a grid formation RadioButtons, and named them A01,B01,C01,A02,B02,C02. I have loaded the .txt file in an array, and want to use the first 3 letters in the array to point to the RadioButton.
Problem: How do I get the string "A01" from the array to point to the RadioButton control?

My application check a valid license key using Select...Case,for each user I have a Case statement.This way I can easily remove a user from next versions of my app.If I use a external data file, my app can be easily hacked,exe can be replaced etc,but using all inside exe seems to be more secure,but Select...Case statement will grow so I'm looking for a way to store white list - keys inside my exe.

I will use the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) to transfer files from a client (laptop) to a shared folder on a server within our local network.The problem is a very slow network bandwith, if we transfer a file, the other clients canīt work, all requests to other clients (application) or viewing internet pages needs a long time.My idea is to use BITS in my tool to copy/transfer a file from client to server, also I hope to get more performance for the internet requests.

So, I'm making a log in page for 'student'. I've two forms. 1) frmStudentRegister 2) frmStudentHome
in frmStudentRegister page, student will enter his first name, last name, email, major etc and will create his profile. When he clicks on 'register' button, the information he entered on the text box will transfer to the second from frmStudentHome.
I've this codes:
lblFname.Text = frmStudentRegister.txtFname.Text
lblLname.Text = frmStudentRegister.txtLname.Text
lblEmail.Text = frmStudentRegister.txtEmail.Text
lblMajor.Text = frmStudentRegister.txtMajor.Text
But when I debug it, frmStudentHome won't show those entries. It's just blank !

I have a sequence that reads the selected Excel-file and displays the first row of the columns in the Excel. (The first Excel row has the column names)

With the above code I can read the the first rows of the Excel table and choose the names of the columns I like to keep. (By populating the first row to my ComboBoxes)
So, at the moment my DataTable dt has all the table header names but on the first row. And as the header names it has F1, F2, F3, ... F13.
How can I make my new DataTable dt2 take the first row of dt and make it the column names row? How can I choose which columns do I want to transfer from dt to dt2 ???
I have tried the following (Doesn't work):
Dim dt2 As System.Data.DataTable
dt2 = dt.Copy.Columns("F1", "F2", "F3", "F4")
DataGridView1.DataSource = dt2

I am working in Vb Express with MsAccess as database. I have a form with Listview data from Listview is transferred to the TableCustomer it is retrieved from that table back to ListView and after some additions is stored back in Tabloe Customer.I have another table Transaction in the same database which has some common fields of Customer Table in addition to its own fields. I'm currently working on a simple Jeopardy game in visual basic. My selection choices are made from picking the proper radio buttons.
