I have a folder with some fotos in it. all i'm trying to do is make a program in whitch you can write the name of a foto in a textbox, click the "Search" button and find that picture in that folder and then show it in a picturebox in the form.(the program will search only in one specific folder) i used PictureBox1.ImageLocation but that only shows the foto you specify in the command.

However, nowadays, I have to do some programming in VB.NET to serialize/deserialize float32 array again. The program consists of 2 combo boxes, the first one is the nominal resistance drop down list of the numbers :100, 150, 220, 330, 470, 680, 820 and 1000. The second list is of the tolerance numbers; +/- 0.4%, +/-0.6% and +/-0.8%. Now what i want to do is select a number from the first combo box and select the tolerance level of the second combo box and i input the resistor of said value into the text box. when i click the check resistor button it should display a message saying if the resistor is in or out of tolerance. For now I have the form all laid out and the values inputted into both combo boxes and i can go to run the program i am able to select said values. Now my problem is trying to get the right code so that i can check the resistors value.
