Compare The Modify Date Of A File Vs The Current System Date?
Oct 22, 2008I'm trying to compare the modify date of a file vs the current system date. I've found an MSDN article describing how to get the modify time of a file:

This gest the Date and Time, but I want just the Date not the time.

Feb 21, 2011I'm fairly new to ASP.NET & VB.I've been asked to take an existing textbox that is automatically filled with the current date and allow the user to either add a "+" or "-" and a number or a spcific number and convert that into a date.I underdstand the basic concept on how to do this, but I'm running into some problems using the proper commands in order for this to work.The Textbox is called txtDate.What I've tried to do is this:

Jun 5, 2011i have a table "Contracts", with fields CompanyNumber, MaturityDate and other fields.i have a form in vb.net, with a textbox that should check if the entered company number exist in my db, if it does it should check whether the maturity date is bigger or less than current date.Any one out there that knows how to go about it? I used dateinterval.day, but that is the actual day, not the work day. i don't see a "simple" way to get work days.
For example, my number is 3, so i want 3 work days (M-F) not 3 days.

Aug 11, 2009I have a query I'm using to identify a group of contracts that have expired. The query has a ContractID, Status, Start Date and End Date. For each contract, I need to go to a directory and search for a file to import. That part works just fine, but how can I put a qualifier in to check for contracts that have the same start and end date? Do I need to create a multi-dimensional array for this or can I use the query I have? The part in bold text is where I need to identify identical start/end dates. Comments identify pieces to be developed and message boxes to help me confirm what's happening as I run the code:

Program A Specific Function Key Press To Perform That Key's Action?
Feb 8, 2011I'm new to VB and Windows programming but I do have a fair amount of experience programming at the command line level. A friend is having problems with his laptop. He does a lot of speaking engagements with Powerpoint. His laptop uses the F7 key to toggle the output to his external monitor port to the video projector. The F7 key has stopped doing this. Is there a way to create a Windows program that will do this without using a DOS window? He is not familiar with command line processing and needs something that he can double-click.
