Connect To Access Db File From VS2020 (can't Find System.Data.OleDb)?

I have been programming vba for some time and am now starting VB.NET. I need to connect to an existing access db file (access 2003). I downloaded VS2010 and found an example on the net. Here is most of the code:
Imports System.Data.OleDb
Public Class Form1 Inherits System.Windows.Forms.Form
Dim cn As OleDbConnection
Dim cmd As OleDbCommand
get the argument for the desktop of the user
I am getting this error message:
1 End of Statement Expected
I have tried to add a reference to System.Data.OleDb but it doesn't appear in the add reference box. System.Data.OleDb is checked in the Imported namespaces window. I have tried changing the .NET Framework but, no help.

I've spent a substantial amount of time trying to figure this out, but I keep getting the same error

i am developing a project on "sigmoid investment solution" where i have a form where i have to enter all the recent BUY/SELL of shares. and after inserting each record i need a BUY AVG and a SELL AVG. i am using oledb connection to connect to a access database. i want to use the following sql command SELECT AVG(Price_field) FROM table_name WHERE buy_sell="BUY"..i want this result to display on a text box in the form. Question: How do I programmatically determine which provider to use (Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 vs Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0) when my app runs as a 32-bit process on a machine with Office x64 installed?
I'm developing a VB.net WinForms app in VS 2010 and targeting both x86 and x64.The app processes data from xls, xlsx, mdb and accdb files using System.Data.OleDb:Dim oConn As OleDbConnection = New OleDbConnection("Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=...")
The x64 version of the program works as expected. The x86 version works as expected on a system with Office x86.When I run the x86 version on a machine with Office 2010 x64, I get the following exception when trying to open a connection:
The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.I believe this is because I'm running Office 2010 x64 so the x86 data access components are not installed.I can get it to work for Office 2003 files (*.mdb and *.xls) by changing the provider to Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0.

I'm trying to connect a VB application (2010) to an MS Access DB by adding a data source from the data menu but I receive this error message "The connection you selected uses a local data file that is not in the current project.Would you like to copy the file to your project and modify the connection ?
If you copy the data file to your project, it will be copied to the project's output directory each time you run the application" and the options are (yes , No , Help)
If I choose Yes I will not be able to make the application 'device independent ' since it will not be copied under the bin , and if I choose No , changes won't be applied to the DB

I am having connection issue while connecting to using below string

Getting error like database not found. But What i found was connection to mainframes it self was not happenning. Do i need to provide any other information or what i am missing here..

I need to connect Access 2007 Data base using VB.net application. (This is an AddIn working underAutodesk Inventor 2012 64 Bit).When I use a ODBC DSN (under C:WindowsSysWow64) I need to compile the application with targetas x86. But Inventor 2012 64 bit needs target as x64 or Any CPU. So ODBC - DSN not working. When I tried OLEDB as "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data Source=database.mdb"It returns with an error Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 not registered.
