I have found this amazing control that does exactly what I need, only problem, its in C#. Does anyone know of a VB version of this code? I've tried using converters, but all of them have failed in successfully converting the project. Maybe one of you guys knows how to convert it?

I opened my project and have been working on it for weeks now. when I build it today it said biuld successful but the new .exe file etc have not been written to my Release folder.

View 1 RepliesI cannot seem to successfully send the Enter key to a webbrowser control using .net. I can succesfully send postmessage Tab key and it tabs through the links and controls, but it does not click on the link when I send Enter key.The website I am opening has frames, and due to the cross frame scripting policies microsoft forced into the IE control , I cannot retrieve the links from the IFRAMES on the page. So my alternative thinking is to use Tab keys to get to the link and then press Enter.

The problem is that the same code works about half of the time. What could possibly be the reason for the difference in execution performance and how can I better shore that this problem is checked?
View 1 RepliesI created a typed dataset a day or so ago, then I added a whole bunch of tableadapter/tables with some relationships etc... suddenly out of nowhere it decides my dataset "is not defined". everywhere in my code where i use this dataset now has an error. I tried not to pull out my hair and do a Clean then Rebuild solution... out of nowhere it just refuses to generate code. Object reference not set to an instance of an Object. It would be nice if it was my object so i could find it but it's not.
Curiously I also lost the little database icon on the dataset in the solution explorer.I can still open it in the designer and preview my queries etc... it just wont make the code. it's driving me insane. anyone got a solution?
I don't know how to convert the nvarchar value into an int, but that is the way it needs to be set up. I've found other posts about this but I don't know how to use CAST in the INSERT statement I have. All the posts I could find were about converting to int in SELECT statements. I need this statement to change the field @Duration to an int in the database. @Duration is an amount of time. (01:00, 02:00...) They will all get rounded up to the next int value. So if a user enters 0:45, it should be converted to 1. how to get this INSERT to work?

I have two datetimepickers on my form to set a start date and end date for a SQL server database query. I am passing these dates with parameters to my query from the .Value of the datetimepickers. When I run the program, the code returns an error of "Conversion failed when converting datetime from character string" I am not converting anything in my code. It is my understanding that the StartDatePicker.Value is already a datetime and does not require conversion.

here is an sql query statement i run in vb.net. i keep getting the error of "Conversion failed when converting date and/or time from character string." whenever i try to execute this. the datatype of filing_date and approvale_date is "text" but the deyt variable is originally Date, converted to string: (Date.Today).ToString, like so. nulll is simply a variable with vbNullChar as its value.

I am following the guidelines from [URL]..Mid way through the process they have you rename your App_Code to Old_App_Code folder and compile ... at which point i had DLL's in my BIN folder and i started to repair my aspx/ascx files.

Today i find the compiled bin files missing an now all my pages are sqwaking they cannot find the numerous Public Class - Public Shared Function's ... I have verified their build action to Compile but am unable to rebuild an have them regenerate on account of project errors.Advice on how to rebuild the bin or how to properly reference a Public Shared Function? My VB code includes an Imports statement taht used to find the class in app_code.

I've been trying to solve this for a while now and can't get anywhere. My date is in date format, and so is the Date field in my Stats table. My code can be seen below.

The issue comes in with the second SQL statement I think. I don't understand why adding a date into a date field would be an issue, I've tried adding it as a string which didn't work.

I tried to reinstalled it again and also repair the installation of Visual Basic 2005 Express but I have the same error all over again.
