I know that you can create custom formats for the DateTimePicker control, and I've googled this but is there any way that you can allow a user to only select Sunday dates in a Month with this control?

It also implements IFormattable.ToString, so I can define my own custom formats.This approach seems to work everywhere in my app, except .rdlc reports. For example, I have a text field on a report with the following expression:
=Fields!MyField.Value.ToString("lr")
"lr" is a custom format I have created. When running the report I always get #Error as the output. I've placed breakpoints in my .ToString function and stepped through the code as the report is running, and I know the function is returning the correct value, but the report just doesn't seem to be capable of receiving and displaying it.

I'm trying to create a simple transparent PANEL control. I want to create a custom control based on the existing Panel Control with a property added called "transparent" which can be set to true or false. If it's set to true it's transparent(not invisible). So if I place it over some controls in a form say a button or text box... they are visible but disabled.

I have previously used the arguments of a contentsResized event on a Winforms richtextbox to get the new size of my RTB. I am now developing a WinForms app with a custom WPF RichTextBox. My whole reason for doing this is to use the out-of-the-box spellchecker. I need my RichTextBox to expand and collapse vertically as the text is changed. The elementhost will also have to resize to allow the whole RTB to display on-screen.

A friend of mine called me to that we need a program for our club that when a member will enter in club gate so first of he will have a card upon which a barcode will be printed and through barcode reader his code will be scanned and will be find out that whether he is a temporary member or regular member or absent member or other. I've created a custom user control that has several properties. One specifies which database I want the control to access. I want to be able to present the user of the control a drop down from which he can select which database the control will interact with. How do I get the dropdown to work? I can get default values, but have yet to figure out how to get the selectable list.

Please i am using a datetimepicker for get user time inputs so i want to custom format the control so that it will accept hour,minutes and seconds as well.I am using this code but it is not working for me.It gives me sqlexception Conversion failed when converting date and/or time from character string.me.timeStart.customformat="hh:mm:ss"..with this it is still not picking initially the data type for the field was time and i have change it to nvachar which is still not working

View 1 RepliesI want to save a Custom DateTimePicker.Value in my Application Settings. The custom format is : dd/MM/yyyy hh:mm:ss, instead of dd/MM/yyyy The field i've created in the application settings parameters is LASTSAVE (DATE / APPLICATION)
When I try to link in the ApplicationSettings/PropertyBinding ... VALUE with my field LASTSAVE, i have an error :
The Value '01/01/0001 00:00:00' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' mustbe ... 'MinDate' et 'MaxDate'.
Name of the parameter : Value
I then entered the MIN and MAX date in the properties of my control DATETIMEPICKER.
I have also put into the properties Value a start date like 23/11/2011 12:00:00 ;
However, when i retry to link in the ApplicationSettings/PropertyBinding ... value to LASTSAVE / I have the same error (The Value '01/01/0001 00:00:00' is not valid for 'Value'. ). I've saved all, do a process that put a value in the datetimepicker.value, but it's not saved, cause not linked.
