If I insert integer value it will be updated in database every thing is ok but when I want to write some string in my textboxes and want to send them I get connection error.

assigned the following.
Text No
Value 0
Text Yes
Value 1
So what I need to do, is to readd a varchar value from my database and if the column value returned equals 'Yes' then I need to select the radio button that has the assigned value of 1. Otherwise if the value read from the database is 'No', then I need to select the radio button assigned a value of 0
So how can I set the value for my radio button? I experimented and could not figure it out. The 'Yes' or 'No' value is stored in my database in the field ds.Tables("employee").Rows(0).Item("answer")
So I tried something like this which is not correct:
RadioButtonList1.Items.FindByValue(ds.Tables("employee").Rows(0).Item("answer") = "Yes").Equals(True)

Add An SQL Database File Using VS 2005 Getting Error Message Saying Version Of Database Server Not Supported?
May 18, 2009I recently upgraded the MS SQL Server installed on my personal computer from 2005 Express to 2008 Express. Problem is when I try to add an SQL database file to a project using VS 2005 I get an error message saying that the version of my database server is not supported, I must have SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 or later installed. I didn't do it yet but I'm pretty sure that when I open the other projects that I included a database file to it, I'm going to get the same error.
My question is it possible to have two SQL Servers installed on my machine? If so, is it a good idea to have two DB servers in the same machine?

Aug 13, 2009I created an application in vb.net 2005.It works fine on my machine. I tested several different test machines and all were working fine. As for the client, it's generating an error. My application reads from an excel sheet and imports the values to an oracle database. the error being generated is: "conversion from type string to type double is not valid". Why is it generating on on the client's computer and not mine?
