I would like to be able to display null values in a datetime picker control. I am using one datetime picker control for both datadisplay and data entry. when I load the data from the database and if there is no date then the datetime picker control must be blank.

I've managed to get the data back okay from the tables but what I want to do is filter that data dynamically based on values input by the user from a combo box and a date time picker. In order for it to roll up, I have to change my focus to a different area.Is there anyway to make it rollup when a day is clicked? It feels awkward the way it is now.

I have a Datetime Picker on a form.
When I use dtArrival.value for instance, it gives me the date in the format "24/04/2010 10:54 PM"
Is there a way that I can grab the value in the format "YY/MM/DD" e.g the value would return "10/04/24"?
Also whats the easiest way to calculate the number of days between two datetime pickers on the same form? I've tried to do it and it's just a mess.

View 2 RepliesI am having trouble setting a datetime column in a datarow to null or MinValue and updating the database row using a DataAdapter update command.In one scenario, if the value in a text box is not a valid data, I set the value in the datarow = DateTime.MinValue. The value returned by MinValue is #12:00:00 AM#. An error is thrown on the Update command "SqlDateTime overflow.Must be between 1/1/1753 12:00:00 AM and 12/31/9999 11:59:59 PM."
In another scenario, an error is not thrown but the DateTime value on the row is not changed.The database column allows nulls and I can set the value to null using a SQL update command.
I'm pulling in a datarow with a datatime that may already have a value. This is NOT being loaded in to a date picker. Based on another condition this field may need to be returned to a NULL state and the datarow saved back on the SQL2005 DB. I have a date time picker bould to a Nullable Datetime field in a sql server datatable. The ShowCheckBox option is set to true. If the user unchecks the checkbox on the datetimepicker I would like to the field to be set back to null in the DataTable. The default behaveour does not seem to do this and there is no specific event for the uncheck.

The bold part is my problem. its about date time picker. there is no error but whenever i choose a date that was handled on the specific day, there is no data displayed in my excel file with the selected date. but in my database, there was a ticket handled on the day that i picked.
An issue.For my date time picker control I want the day as 1st on any value selected by the user.(day of date part should be 1 for any date).
